This game is virtually the opposite of Super Bowl 42 There was a tremendous amount of luck involved with the Patriots losing to the Giants that time, and the same thing happened here, just the Patriots were on the receiving end of it Also, what really makes me link those two games together a lot is that Brady was getting harassed from start to finish in both games The difference is that Brady succumbed to it in 42, but overcame it here Every single lucky play in this game feels like it was taking back from what screwed them over and caused them to lose in 42 Edelman’s catch for Asante Samuel’s dropped pick, Matt Ryan’s fumble for Vince Wilfork falling over on 4th down and 1, and Matt Ryan’s sack out of field goal range for Eli’s pass to David Tyree It is almost like the world told the Patriots “hey, um, sorry about all that, here ya go”

Falcon's young, inexperienced defense showed their true colors in the second half, also I feel Quinn started to get too conservative and was playing not to lose instead of putting the nail in the coffin on the patriots, Pats also had luck on their side which is necessary to win these types of games with Edelman's ridiculous catch and winning the coin toss of course, all these factors contributed to the greatest comeback in super bowl history and the game which solidified Brady as the GOAT

It's amazing: the difference of how, watching this game for the first time since the real game day, feels from the Superbowl Sunday that this game took placebrI guess I can see how all of the hoopla makes for a more exciting game; the commercials, the station cast comments, sideline commenters, gee, even the penalty delays It stretches out the excitement Builds onto the tension And it shows me how state of mind was Lacking, as I was watching this video It's like, nobody tells you when to get excited During the actual game I was (humorously speaking) almost passing out between heartbeats as soon as the score went to 28-3 I was tunnel focus with nothing around me it was just how is TB12 going to pull this off That was out of the gate, and so for hours (30 minutes game time,) i was in a different state of mindbrBut watching this now I'm like, where's the tunnel focus and fainting heartbeats brBut it is still darn good to watch it, still exciting, riveting
