A whole lot of gold's value I think is simply because we are sheep by nature and follow along doing the same thing simply because it is what was always done before really though the king should be Platinum and the PGMs these days Platinum itself is 30X more rare in the Earth's crust and is only found in good quantities in a very few places and even then it takes more effort to extract and refine the stuff And then besides that Platinum is more favored than gold for jewlrey in many markets Industrially Platinum is WAY more useful than gold and together with all the PGMs there is more demand for the stuff than mining/refining operations can even keep up with! One PGM palladium is selling for close to $6k/oz EVEN in this global pandemic! And the ONLY reasons Platinum is lagging behind really is that sheep mentalityuse dropped off a bit and it was seen by the sheep as bad so people got scared and they buy gold instead even though they are actually overpaying for gold these days and I fully believe many people will lose quite a bit of money when it DOES correctplatinum however is bouncing on it's false bottom with overall nowhere to go BUT upwards the moment the economy begins turning aroundThe BS you will hear from the gold Hawks is "platinum is just an industrial metal while GOLD is the real deal money in the bank and is what Central Banks want to hold"Well that only explains why is it OVER priced Right now are we Central banks? NO!
