Clothes are a question of occasion If your social life usually requires real evening dress, you'll have one or two prepared Especially if you ever get invited to wedding receptions or similar occasions And regarding books, as a published author, people who buy them for the look on the shelves and the "feeling" are stupid and shouldn't buy them in the first place

Some I already ditched in my early 20s (cheap alcohol, going out clothes and makeup I never wear) or never bought at all (skinny jeans, prepped meals on a regular basis, things for guys, padded bras) Still drink some shots (are not that expensive where I live) and I LOVE hardcovers, especially when they’re illustrated brbrThings I stopped buying recently: uncomfortable shoes and high heels Flights at all, because of environmental reasons, but I was never a person traveling a lot

Rotisserie chicken is the best purchase you can buy if you are making a chicken dish that requires cooked chicken They are delicious and you can’t purchase a chicken, season the chicken, turn on the oven and roast a chicken for the price of a rotisserie chicken This is the first thing that came to mind regarding ready to eat food

I won't ever stop buying hardcover books I don't like the feel of paperback books when I'm holding them I have a few because so books don't come in hardcover, but they're the exception Someone please explain the e-books to me, I've tried them (my mom loves them) and hated them

I am fine with spending more on something I'll enjoy Yes, they will get dusty It won't affect the taste Cooking at home is cheaper and better My "inconvent" flights story is this I was going overseas I could spend $700 for a direct flight or spend $400 to spend 18 hours in an unknown, not particularly safe city where I knew no one I took the $700 flight, my friend the $300 flight I was up and ready to go after a short nap, my friend was exhausted Get the direct flight if you can

Personally I love padded bras for my body and find the ones I have super comfortable That said I don’t wear the super solid ones, I wear ones that are thin enough to be flexible and conform to my body, I have a strapless that is thicker and not very comfortable and will hopefully soon be replaced with a corset

I once went to Paris with two friends from London They took the Chunnel because one of them is a nervous flyer and the other wanted to experience the Chunnel I laughed as I booked Easyjet for a third of the price I flew into an airport outside Paris whereas their train went straight into the city with all the Metro connections What I paid in taxi faires to and from the airport ended up costing me more than they paid

As a 31 year old, I 100 agree with this list There is such a journey of self acceptance that happens around 28-30 that by the time you get here, it feels so much easier to just sit in your own skin and not have to buy things to prove something to other people You're totally right, life is too short to wear uncomfortable "pretty" bras

Sadly in my depressed brain I have prepared or take out a lot more at 31 than I did in my 20’s just because it’s hard for me to want to eat very much less want to cook constantly (It’s not unusual for me to have 1 meal and milk for the rest of the day, basically the main reason I have more than 1 meal is because I have a hungry fiancé who will just order because I’m not up to cooking)
