I am a dealer my base pay is terrible 400 per hour flat rate really gotta make alot of tips I'm a floor person as well which the pay is terrible of 1335 per hour and been doing it 3 years Casino work just ain't worth it

I've been dealing poker in Detroit for 12 years I started out making like 850 an hour with pooled tips but now I'm making 13 and keep my own I always made between one and two hundred but ever since we came back from the Covid break its between 3 and 400, not including hourly, and that's with being on break for 3 or 4 hours a day

If a person is strictly a poker dealer, must they deal every type of poker offered, whether it's low-limit, high-limit, no limit, pot-limit, Omaha, stud, or any other type I don't know about? What do they need to be able to deal? I know, I know"it depends on the casino" OK, whatever most casinos offer that counts as a type of poker, do the poker dealers there need to know how to deal all of them? If so, can you list the ones that most casinos offer in their poker departments so I can make sure I know them all before I apply? I haven't called around to schools to see exactly which versions of poker they teach

I’ve worked at tribal casinos and my low average is $130 and goes up to $300+ per day and my highest was 4K in one day br( I don’t deal high limit games)

I work in Iowa where our house shares all our tips [which is a bummer since I go the extra steps as a dealer] and we average about 11 to 12 bucks an hour toke rate with 6 dollars from the house So I'll average anywhere between 17 to 18 an hour, I've seen it as high as 22 an hour but no less than 15 Hope that helps!
