I’m not a comic book guy but I think I would have bought them, searched them hoping to find a few hundred bucks in like 10-50 of them and I literally would have just found a way to get rid of the rest😂 I wouldn’t want to go through the hassle of selling them a dollar a piece Not worth a thousand bucks for years of doing that

Bulk comics aren't worth the time investment they'd take to resell Comics post 1975 were mass produced, and people have been intentionally collecting them, making them automatically not rare and therefore worthless Buy them to read them and enjoy them

Just seeing that comic collection off the top there was nothing compelling that I saw I would have gone through the stacks to see if there was anything worthwhile but I am pretty sure his kids went through the stuff already I am at the point of collecting where it's better to buy an older collection to fill in the blanks and sell the rest for what I can get out of it A comic shop will give you anywhere from 10 to 20 cents per book if you are lucky I have enough crap in my life and plenty of long comic boxes don't need anymore unless they are a super special collection

The big ones are Spider-Man, Batman, Avengers, X-Men I saw a lot of fluff that are dollar books, but for 10 a pieceyou definitely would have recouped your cost

Those are not old comics I am a grader for CBCS Comics The 90’s comics were mass produced If they grade out 98 you can make some decent money The 12 and 10 cent comics are usually where the real value is at

There's a real good chance all those comics were worthless There's a only a handful of 90s comics worth anything I don't think any DC comics from that decade is worth anything If they were the leftovers from a store that went under they probably weren't anything good The seller sounded like he knew the value of those books which is why he was charging a fair price of 10 cents a book

You made the right move on passing on the comics $100-$150 isn't a bad deal However, with you not knowing much about comics and seeming not really interested in them; you definitely don't wanna try and sell them Most those books were $1 or 50 books I didn't see anything that caught my eye You made a good move asking for graded books though

i'd say 90 of it is dollar or 50¢ comics depending on grade of course perhaps the last 10 might be worth $5-$25 each again depending on grade what you need to know is the key comics and pull those out and look at the spine and corners and wear/tear of them for modern comics, which most of those are, you need them to be almost near mint to be worth anything people are more forgiving for older comics pre-1990 as far as condition

Yeah man, def Worth the buy If anything through your research you would be paying a minimum admission fee to understand the value of comics I would of stolen from this man at that price Plus he said he had more, that was just a small portion If he really bought a comic book store It's possible he's got thousands of dollars and not even know it

I didn't see anything while you were flipping through of any note The porblem is, people that know pick through them and pull all the good books and leave the junk behind It may have taken you 20 years, if ever, to sell a bunch of worthless books The 90's were the most over produced years for comic books and it caused the comic market to crash There may have been a few keys in there that may have made your money back or more, but what do you do with the other 1,000 no one wants?
