Growing up in the south of Belize, we always took bites of this life leaf with bits of salt It was tasty! We found it amazing that a leaf can create a whole plant so we use to always break the leaves and leave it on the ground Thank you for the information Dr Arzu! ❤

Thank you for this video! I have a leaf of life plant that has grown over 4 feet tall and have not been able to find any information on if the the plant can be pruned It is now bearing leaves only from the top 2 feet down as it has shed it's leaves from the other 2 feet down so there is plenty of stalk If it can be pruned and rooted in water will the stalk alone propagate or does it require at least one leaf attached like how we propagate rubber plant for example? I have to support the plant with a stake now so that it won't collapse under it's own weight
