Those first two things are examples of why no matter how insane Rockstar goes with other stuff or how underhanded they are, people will always buy their games because Rockstar just can't seem to help themselves with implement tiny, completely inconsequential things that just improve the cool factor of the environment Obviously you don't see a lot of telephone repairmen in the game When was the last time you saw someone working on the power lines along the road unless something big like a storm happened to cause a problem? Its really funny that GTA 4 has more detail in it than GTA 5 An example of this is when you shoot a pedestrian they will physically react to where you shot them, if you shot them through the chest, they will apply pressure to where you shot them with their hand, if you shoot them in the right leg their right leg will be dragging behind them as the run away and yell "Heeeelp, Ahhh GOD MY LEG" where as in GTA 5 they dont react at all You shoot an npc and they have no custom animations, they just get up off the ground and run as if they are in perfect condition I also like the cars, I understand its a controversial topic but them being hard to control is, fun Theres times when you take a corner a little too fast and you lose control, run over a cop, and now youre in a high speed police chase Having mechanics like that, mechanics that cause interactions and moments, thats what makes a good free roam game

I think GTA IV was really underrated I still remember a gaming headline, Video Games from 2008 that We Stopped Playing, in reference to the original GTA Online I bought the game the weekend it came out I was a little disappointed, because car modding and such wasn't in the game I started playing it again after 10 years, and I almost can't put the controller down Having been to New York in the intervening time, the game is even more immersive than I expected

about the time and weather, im not so sure how they do it with the weather but i know that the radio hosts know what time it is because every station has the same cycle of songs and advertisements that play at certain times of the day, its the same schedule on the radio, all day, every day

The doors to the exotic car showroom in Algonquin actually shut after 8pm and reopen at about 8am I also love the fact that you can use pretty much any computer to log in instead of going to a 24 hr shop At the lobby in Playboy X apartment you can use the pc there for free

Actually there is a news report on the radio that talks about the seagulls It says something to the effect of Burger Shot taking credit for there being more or less no seagulls in the city due to their introduction of mystery meat a couple of months ago Found that out today while just cruising and listening to the radio in game
