🙋🏿‍♀️🥰😇I wanted to tell about Turkish seem like Arabic language since barrow many words from it In fact its in the same language with Korean and Japanese as structure so that’s why people get confused when starting it Turkish came from central Asia and the word creations similar to Japanese we add suffixes to the end of the words, meanwhile in Arabic they add or remove sth from the middle of word to create other words

Listen to songs, with lyrics on, in the language you want to learn Doing this in German and I find it to be a game changer I also use Duolingo daily and will seek out other media sources like podcasts and tv shows This can all be accomplished on youtube/youtube music

I went to Lingq and saw CNN as a source and decided not to try I just cant stomach CNN I like the ideas presented here as to how to learn a language and have started to find resources for the written in the language I am learning plus the English PLus there are so many resources on Youtube I was doing it the old way and would often times just quit out of frustration or boredom I Hope this method will allow me to finally learn a second language, thanks so much for this video and your other videos

Love technology! 😂 Seriously, though, I started learning Spanish eight months ago and very disappointed in myself where I am not I started out with one app and feeling unsatisfied, I started listening to a lot of things, basically shotgunning as much information as I could find which made it more frustrating I needed structure so this helps a lot Thank you! Also, I am 69 and this is my first attempt to learn a language, which I don’t think helps I do have the Linq app now so thank you for that! 👍

I feel like when I read and listen I end up not really listening because I'm concentrating on the reading and trying to remember what the words mean What kinda seems to work better for me is have the English translation to read while listening in the new language That way since I know English without having to think about it I can actually concentrate more on the verbal/audio

I like watching shows in the original language and reading subtitles, it takes a bit but you get a real good feel for the living language and the structure and use of words After i have my basic vocabulary i just watch movies, tv shows or listen to music

I think I understand a great deal of Spanish and by extension some Portuguese, Italian, and possibly French, but many words might be synonyms or words I don't think I've heard before and I enjoy trying to make connections by using context I do love getting a word without needing that direct translation However, in listening should I to begin by setting the subtitles to English until I expand my base or should I jump straight into Spanish subtitles and sweat a little bit with the pressure?
