I dont know where you buy 90 but the majority of mine has been 20X face with just a smidgen at 23X and once at 235x but those were very small purchases like I said the bulk has been 20X I just dont know why anyone would pay the numbers you started with thats Highway robbery no way would I ever pay that premium I bought 40 today at $2490 an oz and I am fine with that because I could sell it the day I get it for 75¢ a coin more but Im keeping it Im not too proud to buy 40 my favorite is 90 at 20XFace but I like 40 too I like eagles too but I sure arent going to pay those rediculous premiums no way no how uh uh!!!!! Just think about it There will come a day, and less than ten years from now, when even these prices will seem cheap I would hold up on buying now though There will most likely be another pullback or two before the price goes to the moon Comment from : Tony Price |

Another hidden cost to buying online is the tax Comment from : Tony Price |

There's only one place in my town that has junk silver, and it's a good thing they are so reasonable with their premiums I can't find a better deal if I drove for 2 hours each way, and these guys are right down the street! Thanks for pointing me in the right direction, online premiums and shipping costs were too much to justify stacking regularly Comment from : Annonymous0283745 |

Good video Just my personal opinion Best way to stack silver is to buy rounds when on sale Some of these premiums on junk silver are higher than premiums on rounds of pure silver Comment from : sureshot556 |
In the UK I've been getting 925 coins mostly at spot Comment from : bushcrafty |
The premiums on junk silver are absolutely trash JM bullion is charging $15 over spot per ounce They are absolutely Price gouging I understand a premium on fractional silver because of the work and labor associated with minting smaller pieces But that does not apply to already existing circulated constitutional silver They are just arbitrarily Inflating the cost of the premium I can’t believe people are willing to pay that much Comment from : Felipe Tejeda |
Thank you! Comment from : Jim G |

I love watching your videos! I never realized how expensive this junk silver was until you explained it here 32 - 36 dollars per ounce? You might as well buy a 999 silver eagle for that price!! I'll never buy junk silver again, at least until the price comes down close to spot Thanks for explaining the math and I hope you do an update when the prices for junk drop again Comment from : Bradley81 |

I’m new at collecting coins and war tokens and I mostly purchase Benjamin Franklin and Walking Liberty 90 silver coins I’m still learning but if I’m correct those two coins I just mentioned has the actual coin value depending on the year and shape/grade and it has the actual silver value So it mostly has two values you can fall back on Comment from : FFWR- 109 |

Reason for high premiums is simple: that’s what the dealers can get for it Only question is WHY they can get so much And that is also simple: more and more demand from people waking up to the reality that their fiat dollars are becoming increasingly worthless by the week It’s not just “silver people” coming to that realization For years I have preached the virtues of real money to my friends and co-workers and basically up until recently it was a fruitless endeavor; most didn’t want to hear it Lately however, with rampant inflation, people are asking me questions about it The questions they have are all ones most silver stackers have asked themselves at one point or another, so I don’t expect premiums to go down anytime soon vs the illicit, illegal, illegitimate Comex price for paper contracts At some point there will be an even more complete disconnect between physical silver and that bogus spot number Would not surprise me if we saw the former double or triple the latter Comment from : Russ Jordan |
Well done 👍 Comment from : donald robinson |
Premiums on constitutional silver is completely un-necessary and just a racket for dealers to make extra $$$, there is no manufacturing cost or anything of that nature when it comes to these coins, that cost was absorbed by the US government and taxpayers decades ago I call BS when it comes to exorbitated mark ups these old coins, there is no numismatic value to these other than the silver value content which is what a dealer would offer you for your silver if you brought it in Comment from : Mr1MOA |
Well, you got one thing right silver is junk Comment from : Tyler Durden |

Newbie here, and looking for feedback I went to a coin shop to inquiry about 90 silver, and they only sold it at a minimum face value increments of $500 at a 22x price That seemed more like a wholesale requirement ($11k) minimum purchase… What’s you’re experience? Comment from : Adam Affholter |
I have inherited some junk silver so my question is what is the selling price if I want to sell it? Comment from : Victor Bustillos |
If you must buy silver right now, this is one of those times where it is best to go against current market trends The best time to buy junk silver was before the price spike when you could get it cheap in comparison to other forms of silver Now that more ordinary people have suddenly become buyers, the situation has changed You can buy junk silver if you want and pay a $5-6 premium for each $1 face of 0715 oz, depending on where you go and if you buy in bulk Or you can buy generic silver rounds for $599 each over spot for an entire ounce of silver You are in essence paying much the same premium but for a significantly different amount of silver Comment from : Mark L |

I'm buying 99 round's for either $30 or $31 each So am I correct in saying that I'm getting a better deal buying those than I am junk silver? If I'm calculating junk silver correctly, almost no one is selling at $5 or $6 over spot Thanks in advance Comment from : Scott S |
