Makes sense they used to have these codes it's for a building manager to solve minor refund issues/stuck item disputes without actually having to have access to the machine They probably got smarter though and made it a random string of 10-12 numbers instead of *#*#*# as that's easy to abuse If you own a machine you could have just called your support number to ask about this? lol

My brother got arrested one time in Nebraska, & he was in jail with a guy who was known as the "Midwest Vending Machine Bandit" 😜 brbrThis guy has been at it for so long, he had named his son "Tom", after the Tom's Snack Company that was funding his criminal career! 🤣 brbrApparently, he had been knocking over vending machines for literally DECADES until he was finally caught He apparently knew how to pick those little round-shaped locks, & after that, it was just a matter of finding a place to turn the change into paper money

In test environments the variable always need to be constant/same In the example clips the people used coins whereas you used a $1 note & also keep in mind that actually cleared the hopper for a refill/restack just beforehand so therefore the results of ur attempts may vary true? 🤔brie The machine probably didnt release or refund u any coins because it didnt have any to do so Maybe the hack only works with coins rather than notesbrThat last point may actually be a good fact to find out also true?brMaybe just gave a #5th attempt using the exact variables & post the results of that experiment ✌

most if not all vending machines will not have any "codes" work on them until the machine is put into technician mode, which is usually done from inside of the machine, either using a technician switch, by opening a door with a physical key or by pressing a button on the VMC (vending machine circuit board)

Too long heres the answer instead Yes it works on older machines, yes you can trick sensors in the newer belt machines However most code hacks are not possible unless the door is opened if you are attempting theft of product This is for usa based machines for snacks, coke and Pepsi 6 years repair experience 10 years vending experience
