I have no time to listen to this video, but I am curious if whatever alternative sites to ETSY he is talking about, do they MONITOR sellers that are not selling handmade itemsbrOr will it be just like ETSY? Their rules of only selling handmade items is a joke! Etsy doesn't stop these sellers, therefore, those that are following the rules have a snowballs chance in hell if we ever want to sell our handmade goods😡 and let's not forget Etsy's fees It's all such a farce

Etsy is crap they suspend and close stores they got problems with their algorithm sometimes they reopen the store after 4 month sometimes there's no specific reason and they do not explain they close my store 2 weeks ago

Good jobs, I had a bad experience with Etsy, When I uploaded a set of stickers for the first time, t which created in AI software, they suspended my account, and after 14 days of my claim,answered we aren’t able to reinstate your account and won’t explain why

Shopify is good for creating a website but make people aware you have to do your all your own marketing on Google Facebook Instagram and that can get really expensive people also need to be aware Shopify doesn't Market your goods

Redbubble is not only a racist company, they discriminate against all Chinese or Chinese people, they are also a scam company, when you upload a design, no matter if it is sold or not, buyers will see at least 150 purchase reviews about the design, this is Is the biggest deception! I've looked at other platforms, but I've been very successful on Etsy and really like it and haven't wanted to switch yet They just seem to have the best traffic of the sites I looked at If any of your followers decide they want to try an etsy shop - here is a referral code that will get them 40 free listings so they can try it out at no cost

Etsy is a very dishonest shop! I bought two packets of beads costing 278 and 400 for the delivery It took two weeks So no special couriers The weight was less than 5 grams between them Plastic with holes ! They charged me 26 dollars! When you buy something that cost less than 3 and ended pay 8-9 times as much you can only feel ripped, and pissed! I'll never buy anything from that nasty shop! They should warn the cost would have become as it did! They make millions of other's people abilities and transactions but the shipping of two tiny packets of beads is not getting any preferential treatment, What is the benefit than to buy from " e- fk -tsi?" I really feel ripped and stupid for having spent so much unknowingly! Sending back costs money as well! I want to take those beads and throw them in the toilet because seeing them is not giving me any joy just bad feelings! So I want to inform others of their scam!

His comment on Etsy not providing sellers with contact information is incorrect On every sales sheet that I print I have email/phone/address so I can contact my customers directly or use the DM option if I need to eBay is horrible I started with eBay back in 1999 selling clothing from my brick and mortar consignment/resale shop and made less money per year than with Etsy Fees aside I still believe that Etsy is a better value as will have fees that add up to spending more than if I use Etsy exclusively which I do and I have done extensive research as I am not a newbie to the world of online marketplaces

Etsy's definitely the easiest to take off on and accounts for about 75 of our revenue (375,000 sales) If you can parlay your product into a subscription model, CrateJoy was incredibly easy to break through on, but it's clear that they have no clue what they're doing which will drive you crazy Amazon is brutal There's a ridiculous amount of competition and it's like the Wild West eBay is the Dollar Store of selling platforms and 90 of our "problem customers" will be on there The dream is to break through on a platform and promote the crap out of your Shopify site until that's self sufficient which is finally the point that we're starting to reach with our business

Etsy is the worst place to sell handmade items They no longer showcase handmade, vintage only They are allowing, in droves, commercially manufactured items Businesses are using Etsy for online shopping! I've been phasing my shop out in this year I don't really trust any marketplace to stay handmade, the money is prioritized, for them I'm doing in-person shows, exclusively
