This is great but where it's flawed is that some children are robbed of finding their passion from having experienced treacherously terrible teachers in areas like math and science Some of the most boring teachers inhabit these fields, making it really hard for young children to identify with their love for science and math at the same rate and maybe even more than arts and culture These subjects are fascinating, but somehow, they've been taken over by people who merely had good memories and no understanding of the subject matter So, It's not just about passion, but it's being positioned by God in the right place and the right time to be sparked by someone or something to do anything that fills you up White culture, colonization, and capitalism are a whole nutha' story about why people are empty and lost It's destroying even the planet We watch videos like this to not seek the job we're 'destined' for but it's really from the innate fight we have against these destructive systems that aren't good for any human being So, it's not necessarily passion we're reaching but people who decide to leave their cubicle jobs are doing so to finally become HUMAN again

I was introduced to him in high school by my journalism teacher I have everything I have ever wanted as of this year Peace, happiness, mountains, swimming in waterfalls anytime I want, creating my art in seclusion, teaching art, a man who loves me, a child who is quickly climbing to a great career Love My own acreage to walk around nude if I wanna and dance in the moonlight to a never-ending soundtrack Money has never been a priority I read that if you make $100,000+ you are comfortable We are well above that already, depending on my art/craft sales We are frugal I don't spend money because I already have all I need Good future Simple as that Glad I listened to Mr Watts all those years ago It hasn't been easy and we've had to start from scratch once, but, if I can do it, you can, too Wishing all happiness no matter what you want!

I guess I got lucky I was bone idle in school (couldn't see the point) and I left at age 15 with zero quals I found a job as an apprentice electrician and, to my surprise, LOVED it! Went to college and got some quals and later I decided that I wanted to become a teacher Went and trained for that (took four years) and did teaching for 23 years LOVED it! I retired from teaching and went back into the electrical trade, where I still am I am 73 years old next month and I have had the good fortune to work in two quite different professions, and to love them both!

Surprisingly, I believe Alan missed the ball on this one Yes, some of his tips here are good ones, but reality and human evolution are a lot more complex and dynamic You need to take a lot of steps back and look at an even larger picture Where I believe he misses it on this topic is that this narrated through the assumption that your life is about you and what brings you pleasure What if life isn't about you and pleasure though? We can't assume it is It appears to me that life isn't about you personallyit's about something much larger We can see this in all other forms of life Just wanted to mention I don't believe modern life is evolving in a way where you can simply follow this advice Survival is the main function animals need to focus on and achieve Survival isn't about pleasure and fun There's many processes to growth, which this speech completely skips, claiming in a way that you don't need to grow, you can just do as you please Also keep in mind that dopamine is similar to a drug, therefore addicting Without realizing it, people are constantly after their next dopamine hit A boring job to survive is actually a lot more balanced life when it comes to dopamine production Go have your fun and do what makes you happy, but you can't have a constant high The universe is about balance From the cosmos to the cells in our body, everything is trying to find a balance Just my personal opinions

I think the true insight here, which may have gotten past some people watching, is that if you act as if money was no object and pursue your passions, the money WILL COME If you truly dedicate yourself to art, or to writing, or to outdoors life, or even a sport you like such as basketball or hockey; insofar as they are things you love and are truly committed to, the money will eventually follow This is not to say you will become a NBA player, or you will become a rich painter, but you will earn a comfortable living, and at minimum, truly be happy doing what you like the most
