Athletics is a big part of my life, and I feel like there's a bit of a gray area if you compare habits to academic/corporate duties to sports For example, when you discuss "overpreparing" or "overthinking" @7:43, my basketball Coaches would agree on the overthinking aspect, but they feel that you could never really overprepare (unless you mean by overtraining/burning out)brbrBringing it back to business/work I feel like the same is true in the context of job searching, you could really never be overprepared because you don't know what the interviewer may ask I suppose you mean that economically, there are diminishing marginal returns for every additional hour you prep Would really appreciate your expanding on this I think the main root of the issue is the fear of not handing in the "highest quality" work or the "perfect" project, which is something I know a lot of people may struggle with Cool video and thanks Nischa! What would be your advice for those of us in public education (set salary schedules, no room to negotiate pay, etc)? I do work side jobs, but I still struggle to save enough to get ahead Thanks for your channel! Comment from : Hailey Swanbom |
I am enjoying your content Many of your points are definitely something that can be implemented Good mindset and increase savings rate However it seems like the things that made you reach 6 figures was "just" buying property and starting a business Comment from : Kead |
Im sorry I love your content but at 1:05 "the schooling system is designed to keep you poor" While it sounds bombastic and revelatory its simply not true The education system is there to provide everybody with a base level of education across a broad ranch of topics and through the years you filter that down with later secondary school, college, uni etc Ideally based on your own choices of what you want to studybrbrShould finance be taught in teenage years, 110 yes But consider that most teachers themselves are already underpaid and overworkedbrbrSavings accounts offering you less than inflation are simply banks being tight fisted You could say the same for jobs Are jobs "designed" to keep you poor because of staglation wages (in the UK)? of course not, yet companies pay workers pennys for the value they bring Comment from : ZeDrake |

Thank you so much for this video! I have resonated with everything you said Especially the last point (action > over analysis), with which I am currently struggling Over half a year ago I signed up for an investment course I have learned a lot but till now I have put NOTHING into practice, because I am spending way too much time analysing all the options (and regretting some of the investments I have made so far, which I fear I might have to cancel thus takinga loss) instead of making a choice and getting into action I'm stuck in analysis paralysis 😐 Comment from : Esther Gaitán Fuertes |
Thank you for sharing 💕 Comment from : Bilal Baig |
Great advice! The last one is the hardest for me to embrace, just because in the past proper planning and analyzing saved me time, unnecessary expanses and helped me avoid some mistakes when venturing into unknown Comment from : Olga Anisimova |

I discovered this channel a short time ago because I feel lost I'm 40, I've worked and tried my whole life and in the end I still don't have a roof over my head, I've had enough but right now I feel so lost and without hope Every day I try to watch at least one video or learn something I know it seems funny to me sometimes, but even for that I need an incredible amount of strength for it and everything seems impossible, but I still haven't lost my spirit completely I hereby thank everyone Comment from : Jubitu9 |

This advice is good BUT I hope people know that it’s just not possible for everyone to earn “6 figures before 30” lower paid roles will still exist and can’t all be covered by people under 30 :/ Even if we all followed these rules there must still be elements that exist to make it possible - like spare time, resources and mathematical intelligence to learn about finances; an assumption that your current budget has room for you to live further below your means to be able to save enough for an investment property (which would be tens of thousands in the uk!), just to cover off the first two rules… Comment from : Em |
