This brings back my memories from early 2000's when I visited the cathedral as a kid and was astonished by the apocalyptic sculptures I believed those sculptures were created hundreds of years ago but now I got some background info from your explanations Thanks for the video!

Correction: a 401 foot tower would be impressive but nowhere even near the tallest church ever Since 1890, that honor has gone to Ulm Minster at 530 ft Lincoln Cathedral held title of world's tallest structure outright - besting the Great Pyramid - at (roughly) 525 ft from 1311 to 1548, when the spire toppled during a great storm From 1548 to the late 1800s, Strasbourg Cathedral held the title for world's tallest church at 466 ft When finished, Barcelona's Sagrada Familia is expected to claim the title, topping 560 ft
