He askedbr"The Wind in the Willows" i repliedbr"That book is my bible" he said!brbrWhat amazed me was that he was a farmer - a veal farmer brbrThis puzzled mebrAnd as I wondered I remembered the person who had quoted parts of this book to me was my Grandfather - and he was a Gamekeeper!brbrWe humans are Very Complicated!brbrI truly do not understand us! brbrSo I simply relax with this story again and again!brbrMaybe if everyone read The Wind in the Willows we could achieve world oeace ✌

Great But niggled by the anthropomorphic inconsistency ie bird incarcerated in a cage the horse used as slave labour Maybe for adults

Had to read Wind in the Willows as part of a children's literature course through Athabasca University; one of the best books I've read--favoured even over Lord of the Rings, which I also read, without any of the delight Much easier just listening this time
