As a Iranian i say it's completely correct and well Thanks for teaching my language to other people 🙏🏼🇮🇷 (سلام) is Arabic brHello in Farsi means ( درود ) and bye in Farsi means ( بدرود) but publicly when we see other we say ( سلام) and for bye we usually say ( خدافظ)

As a Urdu native speaker i read all Persian because Persian and Urdu used Arabic script but the time to understand i can't because it is totally different some words i can understand so well like in urdu salam same mean hello but other word mamnun in Persian its means thanks but in urdu its means frobidden which is totally different mean now urdu have 70 percent words from Persian 15 percent from arabic and other 15 percent are Turkish peshto and sansakarit but it is to easy for me to learn farsi (Persian)

I have Persian kids, my husband is American Iranian, they speak in Farsi between them, and I have picked some Farsi words and expression, Iran is the birth place of our religion, and I am more than motivated to learn this language I love the chanted prayers in Farsi and its poems, and I am so motivated to learn Farsi I am a Malagasy, Sending lots of love from Madagascar, to everyone here!
