Why buy gold on a low budget? Buy silver for sure, no brainer, it's been manipulated, it's price, exceedingly more than gold has been manipulated and the ratio of 85 to 1 silver to gold is just absurd it should be 15 to 1 Comment from : Wurd Ferguson |
|
I've looked at tons of different retailers and all their products, and did the math extensively on all of them I've come to the conclusion that 5 gram gold bars are the cheapest way to stack goldbrbrFor some reason, premiums are slightly higher on anything more or less than 5 grams, and anything with some sort of designbrRetailers seem to be able let go of their standard 5 gram bars for less The difference isn't substantial ($20-30 an ounce), but every cent counts!brbr(The only way that's cheaper than that is to buy damaged bullion at spot price, but they only sell by the ounce No one's buying ounces on a budget) Comment from : Mr Happy |

I think you “real situation” is so profoundly optimistic that I wonder if you have any knowledge of human history, even if you limit that to just in the Twentieth Century History brAlso, I wonder if you have any grasp of the actual experiences of the Colonists or the Principles the violations of which might have motivated them to challenge Powerful Mother EnglandbrI wonder how close you are to the Principles elucidated in the Declaration and know that today there are no practical examples of those Principles in any of our so-called “policies In conclusion I suspect that you actuthink that we can continue as the American Republic while violating its Principles on a daily basisbrJWC Comment from : Jay Clark |

Great content! I am personally stacking on a budget, had been into silver but as this is a long term thing for me, a genuine savings account in a physical format that I hold, I have just transitioned fully to gold while maintaining a very small position in silver eagles and some junk silver My plan is flexible, based on the growing but occasionally inconsistent nature of my income (I am a small business owner in year three of enterprise) I buy NO LESS than one single 1/10th per month, and as much as one quarter ounce weekly, depending on events Also really like the pre-33 stuff Comment from : Nicholas Tracy |

Thanks for the tips! I'm a new "stacker" and although I'm currently starting with the initial goal of building my ounces of silver up; I of course want to buy gold once I have the money saved to do so I notice you talk a lot about how your local market has a inclined viewpoint / desire for the American Eagle - whether silver or gold (and that's awesome to know)brBut I would like to know your perspective on the liquidity of 1oz Britannias - to me from the research, they seem the most comparable to the American EaglebrBy the way I'm asking this as someone who is a citizen of the US too Comment from : JHimmothy |
|

As an alternative to 1/10 i prefer to go with 25g bars For the back up purposes you're saving the small amounts for i just think it makes sense to go with the lower premium you get from bars, i don't see a benefit over coins and bars there, gold is gold I basically go with 1g bars (equivalent to 2oz ish of silver), 25g and 5g bars along with sovereign coins (1/4oz) Basically alternating between what i buy each month You obviously save a little on premium if for instance you can buy 5x same bars at a time I have 2023 as my target date for achieving current targets, when i think we'll start seeing serious moves with the central banks and digital currency, hyper inflation peaks etc when my cash is no longer good enough to buy With silver premiums being hyked even more and VAT to worry about in the uk i don't anticipate reaching my gold target being as troublesome as silver, but so long as i'm covered fractional wise thats ok I would like 3oz of sovereigns and 15oz of fractional bars as a minimum I'd rather commit regularly to the smaller amounts than save, especially when i see more room for growth in gold atm, whereas silvers just too risky for my liking atm Hoping to hit my gold targets early ready for when our silver situation is sorted Comment from : BogusDude |

I really like the idea presented here of regular conversion of fiat to PMs but I would advise you all not to buy one ounce of any metal until all your credit card debt is paid and you have a couple grand in the bank so you are not selling your PMs when the washing machine croaks Living beneath your means is the key to long term financial health Since I have been at this a long time I have completed my PM purchases Stay the course!
