I wish I had kept more of these I only have one round pound left, which is the 2012 royal shield of arms design It’s also quite funny that you can still spend these coins in Wales by putting them in the change machines at the arcades (I would never do it though)

I do miss those old round quids, but the current quid is more colourful I enjoy looking at the gold ring on the outer edge, but I miss the depth on the old quid with the lettering on the side I don't fancy the thin disks we now call quid

The old round pound is exactly the same dimensions of the old Swaziland 1 Lilangeni(struck by TRM) brYou could use a Swazi L1 coin in the UK back in the day , and buy a very cheap UK drink/choco at a machine on the airport 😅😅😅
