Do the gold eagles get fingerprint marks or tarnish? Comment from : IMTHERANDOM1 ;-; |
I'd prefer the traditional beautiful flying eagle on the reverse of every Gold Eagle and especially additional security features Otherwise the Maple Leaf or the Britannia would be my choice Comment from : tommy447111 |
1 more XCLNT video I prefer 4 - 9 gold coins not a fan of AGE at all Comment from : Janice Johnson |
I'm noticing the 2022 coin has a different color than the previous ones, on my side by side comparison Is that a thing? Comment from : Empakt MK1 |
That is an absolutely beautiful knife in the background Comment from : John Doe |
What is the point of a secret security feature? It is not like we are only selling back to the mint who would be holding the secret For that matter, finding information on security features on US coins is rather difficult Comment from : Dean Throop |
How much so these go for?I know of a site that's selling 1/10 oz pendant of the eagle for $950 Comment from : remedy |
if they change "In God we trust" to "In Gold we trust" this will be the GOAT coin Comment from : Jo |
Great video, thank you for giving us a visual comparison of the three coins brWhile I currently can't afford $1900 for one coin, I plan on buying one of each of those in the futurebrbrOne thing I am curious about, for the people claiming there is some kind of microchip in the gold eagle coin, do they explain bHOW/b a microchip could survive in molten metal during the minting process and still function??brBecause I think, and I'm guessing that is why you were joking about it, that's a load of BS right there Comment from : RedHeadGuy |
The eagles as a coin in itself looks good, but it seems odd that the motives on each side of the coin are upside down to each other Can't remember I've seen any other mint making their coins that way Comment from : Making Waves |
New stacker hereI get the Eagles is our nation's gold coin, but they have not grown into my taste yet The maples and Britannias on the other hand, I think they are just gorgeous coins I like these coins so much that I bought 3 Maples and 3 Britannias so far Maybe I will buy an Eagle sometime in the future, but for the price of them and the gold content, I'd rather stick with Maples 🍁 and Britannias God bless Comment from : Will Larrea |
I think the eagle head is awesome Comment from : Southern Stacker |
Most definitely type 2 💯 Comment from : EG#1TX#1 |
That knife is worth more than AGE 👍 Comment from : michael hammond |
Wow there are 11 fingers on screen Comment from : Skyler Cogburn |
I personally don't like the type 2 as much as the type 1 American Eagle coin I really liked the scene with the family of eagles on the original version, it was more interesting to me If they had updated that scene with a better sculpt and maybe slightly changed the poses of the individuals in the family of eagles, that would have been cool Just having a massive eagle head on that side of the coin, for me, it's just less interesting Comment from : Adam Bishop |
Type 2 is a beautiful coin but I like the back of the type 1better Comment from : Jackie Newson |
I like the older design on both the gold and the silver I don't know why just not a fan of the new design and unfortunately they're not allowed to change it again for another 25 years! Oh well plenty of older gold and silver eagles out there for me great video Comment from : Track pack GT |
If you dont cut it how do you know that it doesnot have security chip inside ? Comment from : Dickson hoang |
The lone eagle is staring at the thiccer feminist lady liberty while looking at divorce rates That eagle's facial expression was stolen off a Wojak Comment from : Karens Onlyfans Photographer |
Magnificent Gold Eagle! I’m gold all the way and the silver was a heartbreak I’m out Comment from : Mary Kate Sullivan-Morley |
Do the fractional coins of the Gold Eagle have the missing reed? Comment from : David Bilbo |
Look, my shenanigans are worth that eagle's time so he's gonna have to deal with it Comment from : __ HJG__ |
What you think of the missing reed security feature now that the missing reed in 2022 coin is in a different location than the 2021? Comment from : Craig |
Nice Rockstead! Comment from : Lynn Little |
The St Gaudens Lady Liberty and the Liberty Walking designs are the MOST beautiful coin designs in history so far One of the problems is that the mint no longer has a Chief Engraver (It's an engraving, not a sculpture btw) So, our coinage is designed by committee now and the designs for most of our coinage are pedestrian at best I like the type 2 versions of both the gold and silver eagles and would like to see more changes in the future, but I don't think there are artists now with enough talent to create something as beautiful as these coins are Comment from : Kelly Rusk |
American gold eagle sucks Maple leaf and buffalo is the only way to go Comment from : Alex N |
I know, it is always up to your own taste, but the Britannia has in my opinion the most beautiful artwork AND the coolest security features (next to the Maple Leave) Comment from : Amne Sie |
The new details are the security features from rumors going around Comment from : Luke Smith |
Nice Rockstead! Got to get me one Comment from : Flex MTB |
I just can’t believe it only has 46 stars on the St Gaudens side… Comment from : SergiuM42 |
I never was a fan of the type 1 gold Eagle reverse, so I like the redesign much better As for the silver eagles, I like the type 1 reverse better than the redesigned one That’s just me though Comment from : coleroyce |
Is it true of I were to sell the Eagle coin, that I don't have to do paperwork like I do with other coins to sell Comment from : Danny XV |
To me, the British Gold Britannia is beautiful We really need to up our Gold Buffalo It's our 9999 that the world sees! Comment from : o |

Good video Comment from : christian myhre |
LOL “a very convenient false positive” at Min 6 was so apropos ☺️ Austrian philharmonics remain my favorite Comment from : Rochelle M Fernandes |
The Britannia is obviously the most secure, but I think the security feature on the new Eagles may be a bit better than people think, as just filing a reed off wouldn't work, the space where the missing reed is, is very sharp and smooth and I reckon it would be easy to tell (with a magnifying glass) if it wasn't minted like that if you are going to fake this coin you are going to have to redesign the reeded collar on your minting pressbrAnyway, the point is I think a bullion coin with ANY security feature on it will deter a faker as he might just a well fake a type 1 Eagle than a type 2 or a 2020 Britannia rather than a 2021 Comment from : Greg Booth |
They made lady liberty into a fat ass Typical for the times we're in Comment from : SpeedDemonExpress |
This security feature is the worst joke of US mint ((( Comment from : SILVER STACKING ACADEMY |

Anyone that supports the Communist Chinese government gold or and other program doesn't get my support 🖕 Comment from : Patrick M |
I like the new security feature on the eagles , it does absolutely no good but I think it's cool to look at and wonder who greenlights such an idea at a board meeting lol Comment from : Steve Duncan |
Weak like the democrats Comment from : Tee Blue |

I like the type 1, but I’m new at stacking So Id like to somewhat make up for the 36 years of not stacking Eventually I’ll gravitate to the new type like you veterans Love your videos! Comment from : Cameron Cooper |
Small Difference that I don't like according to the CNI web page The new Eagle has 98 oz gold, not one full once I know it's small, I'm that guy Comment from : Robert Wolff |

So that 1 oz gold Britannia coin arrived, I am surprised to find the size of a 1 oz gold coin is smaller than 1 oz silver coin LOL However the security image unlike the half ounce version I have is perfect Comment from : Ryan Hanson |
Really pretty work all around! Comment from : Lee Anderson |
Nice video! We have a scanner at work, (to verify metal purity for medical parts) I’ll have to scan a new eagle and see what it says! Comment from : John Lenk |

I like the knife what brand is it? Gold is gold knifevis interesting Comment from : Rebecca Blankenship |
"Beauty is in the eye of the beholder," as the saying goes One man's (or woman's) diamond is another's lemon Personally, I think they should either switch the Eagle to 24k or discontinue it Two 24k choices would be a clear winner for the US Mint But they have no interest in doing this Comment from : TwilightBrass |
Type 1 is the best by me Comment from : Antonio Indelicato |
It seems to me that a golden eagle would be more appropriate than the bald eagle Comment from : Rusty Shackelford |
Holy smokes, I thought you were serious about cutting open the coin🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Comment from : Steve Driscoll |
I agree All in all, the Type 2 American Gold Eagle is very nice and a coin we can be proud of brOn another note, I think it's so good that you have shared several times your difficult experience trying to sell less popular coins Right now with lots of interest in this market, coin shops might be willing to buy just about anything When the market is down and interest wanes, it's always a challenge selling something that is slower for the shop to movebrI've faced this over the years with firearms on a few occasions It doesn't matter how much I paid for a firearm, or even how much it might be worth; if it's something that is slower to move off the shelf, a shop owner might just not be willing to trade or purchase at ANY sort of fair price They have to move inventory in order to stay in business and cannot afford to tie up money in merchandise that becomes a permanent fixture "Gold is gold," but if that gold is in a coin that is in lower demand, a shop owner in this country would much rather buy that "Gold is gold" in the form of an American Eagle or Gold Buffalo That said, I think everybody should have a certain percentage of their physical holdings in fun stuff they just like, despite the fact that it might not be as quick to move as an Eagle or Buffalo brI'm sure a lot of folks are listening and learning from your experiences Keep trucking! Comment from : hickok45 |
My favorite is the buffalo Comment from : stacy hazelwood |

You mean this is the best the US Mint can muster up as far as appearance and security knowing full well the Brittania and Maples continue with their dominance in esthetics and security enhancements?brAnother us agency that lost its waybrSad Comment from : Nick Mrt |
Wonder if the Buffaloes are getting any security updates for 2022? Comment from : Nick Mrt |
I like the redesign I think it's beautiful I would like a full redesign on the obverse too However for designs i think the Platinum Eagles have amazing designs for the most part Comment from : R D |
I like the newer eagle better also but I still prefer 24 carat Comment from : Andy DePaule |
US mint knows it's the most popular and they see no reason to invest in expensive new features until that changes I like Britannia the best, not so crazy about the Maple's unique ID tracker thing Comment from : N20Joe |
I don't know if I like the angry chicken on the back of the new AGE I think the new design on the ASE would have worked better looked nicer than an angry chicken head and if that's as far as the US mint went with today's possible security features call me deeply disappointed I fell that's outright plain lazy I'll just stack buffalos or the older version of eagles and some modern foreign mint coins Might even start stacking platinum eagles again Comment from : paul axton |
By the way I think it’s a great time to be a silver bullion dealer The info right now is better than insider trading…here they come…inflate the premiums Comment from : USSMIsub |
My goal is to purchase an oz and a 1/4 of gold per month I just started stacking gold so I watch your channel and called my local coin/precious metals dealer I’ve decided to stack 1 oz Credit Suisse and 1/4 American Eagle…Bars for holding and 1/4 oz for liquidity I look forward to my first gold Eagle they look great Comment from : USSMIsub |
I always stacked the Gold Buffalo in the past because I didn't like the Type 1 Eagle Definitely like the Type 2 more and will add some to my stack Comment from : James Revell |
I like more the type 1 Eagles! Comment from : Sonja Ruis |
is it a more talented sculptor or was the original trying to fit more into a small space and losing detail in doing so? Comment from : J S |
A-hole Comment from : Robo Smith |
I am really disappointed about the new Eagle: The Security fearutes - if there any exists - are not obvious like on the '21 Britannia and moreover, the Eagle's head with its short beaker reminds me on a rooster (sorry, to say that) Lady Liberty gained weightSo, for what reason should I pay higher premiums?brPlease excuse me, my American fellow stackers, but only getting it at spot I'd think about purchasing the new Eagle Just my opinionbrAnyway, keep stacking Comment from : Kai R |
Just because there is new world order underway and the elites want to control us I dont want my coins to be tracked brbrI feel it could be the elite cabal way to eventually confiscate our gold brbrbrWEF did state on their website " You'll nothing and you'll be happy" Comment from : Glutamate Sulphate |
I am so excited to have picked up a bag of 100 reeded edges!!! Now that’s a fractional oz of gold to use for barterbr🙃 Comment from : Silver Ripples |
I was hoping for some security features Comment from : ajswital |
Lady Liberty put on a little Pandemic weight being stuck at home in 2020 GEEEEZ brWish they would have chosen a different artist for the Eagle Comment from : Silver Ripples |
i think theyre still under 2 grand i gotta try to get one while the getting is good Comment from : jacob manalang |
