The Panamanian quarters should be the same size, weight, metal content as a US quarter Their money is always 1-1 with ours You aren't supposed to use them in our machines, but they fit (old pay phones and parking meters) washing machines, vending machines, coin star, grocery self serve machines anything that accepts a quarter even with modern technology will still accept these coins as quarters Most of their other coinage was always the same as ours in size, weight and metal content They may have changed the penny (and the half?) but I just usually spend these coins Bahamas as well, as most of them will fit

I haven’t found any good quarters lately but I did finally get a good $10 bag of pennies yesterday (Saturday 9/9/23) after getting crappy bags all week I got 7 wheat pennies including a 1918, 1920, and the last roll had a 1938D! The old mintmark ones are hard to find up here in the Northeast!

I find quarter hunting a lot of fun even though the chances of finding silver are small Seeing all the different designs makes it interesting, it's fun to spot your own state or one of the lower mintage designs you rarely see And there are a lot of interesting varieties like Wisconsin extra leaf and Leaky Bucket Homestead Not to mention Ws and NIFC S quarters Dimes are the opposite, they basically haven't changed since 1965 so I find it boring to hunt even though I usually find more silver
