|
The problem is that there are 7 letters but 12 notes We use the words like sharp and flat to get 12 notes but then that leaves two spaces that dont have sharps between them This is the biggest problem with music, the lexicon is not really suited to what is going on mathematically or musically This is why it is so hard to really explain music in an intelligible way People get frustrated and confused Seems like musicians should have just used the first 12 letters of the alphabet instead Comment from : Paul G |

Hi! I have a question and I would appreciated if anyone could help me When you already know the notes on your guitar and you're playing a song on sol-fa notation, how can you choose the right note for it? For example, on guitar strings you have different Mi (strings one, six,and more) , but in a specific song which one will you have to play? Is there any trick for that?brThank you and good tutorial! I have difficulty understanding on which string to start playing Here is my question: Is it the first note that tells us to start on which one? Considering the second tab in 8:03, can I say that the first note ''A'' should be played on the 5th string, which is A? If I can, then it would be easy for me to infer that I should play the other notes according to the starting note on the guitar brIt would be much appreciated if you replied I believe it will contribute to my process of learning and understanding to read the notation Thanks! wwwinstagramcom/p/CF9RDvhnOl2/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_linkbrThe napkin shows in writing that all "written" music can (theoretically) be transcribed and transposed into a single picture/pattern super imposed on the guitar's fretboard so it doesn't need to be written (!) It makes more sense if you learn the note circle first and then apply it to what he’s teaching Quick tip—> drawing the notes circle many times will help you memorize the notes and gaps in between B&C and E&F Then try to play it on the guitar and it’ll all fall into place Comment from : Lili Campuzano |
|
