To live a debt-free live pay in cash and buy gifts when they are on sale in cash and if you don't have all the money at once to do Christmas do a layaway every month till Christmas 🎄 I have 3 nephews and one niece I buy the little ones their toys for Christmas month before their prices go up My 16-year-old nephew, he asks for clothes and Cologne and other personal items for Christmas My sisters and father are easy to shop for My mom, we put our money together because she gets what she wants

Great ideas! This is the first year I'm doing Christmas debt free We made a budget and shopped a lot of Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales (using Ebates online and we are up to $35 cash back coming in February so far) We started putting money aside a few months ago but for 2019, we are planning on putting a set amount each paycheck for gifts through the year and Christmas so it doesn't hit as hard

I shop clearance sections the drugstore has up to 90 offPlus I know how to knit and basic sewing I made items from supplies I had in my stock and from the thrift store

Moms and Dadsdon't forget there is usually a surplus of toys and books after the holidays SOO please don't forget about the awesome lesson of donations throughout the year but especially before the gifts get home My 5 year old has a memory of 2 years doing this We went to drop at the local Raleigh rescue mission our unused nice toys We had a keep, donate, and trash pile Throughout the year now if I say we have to trash a jacket he says no mama we have to donate it (even if its stained and ripped so he is still learning that part Lol) Lastly, my son is sentimental so I turn his favorite t-shirts and hoodies into a pillow Square or tube style works depending much love and enjoy the holidays Don't forget their bus drivers if you fit them in the budget!
