As an upcoming senior in highschool what can I do to prepare for this job and set my bars of competition? Good that you're budgeting toward a reward of a nice auto PAs seem to have a lot of control over the life they want; whereas MDs, it depends on specialty, which you're pretty much locked into Med school is a really big commitment to a pretty fixed and long path it's a life decisionmaybe more than getting married Do I want to pledge my undying fidelity to medicine through the ups and downs, come what may, yadda yadda Damnfeeling the pressure right now lol

Do you think you could upload an in-depth video like this one that focuses solely on saving money in mutual funds and high-interest savings accounts (like the ones you show in your budget sheet)? I have a pretty good understanding of what a Roth IRA or mutual fund is but if I were to have your income today I would have no idea how I would allocate my money into these different funds It would be interesting to see what your expected returns are for a year across the different accounts you have ("highly aggressive, aggressive, moderate, etc) and how/why you add, remove, or move money to these accounts or across these accounts

Guys I know the 190k looks great and makes you want to do PA but realize that this guy is working almost 12 hours a day for 7 days a week to bring in that pay The average pay for a PA is about 100k and they probably work much less than that which explains the income difference Like he said, it DEPENDS ON YOUR WORK ETHIC

What I learned is in the medical field, you can not base your expected salary off what you see online The reason being is that information is an average amount and it depends on many factors how much money you make Alot of medical professionals do make that expected salary you see online but there are SO MANY who make more, which all depends on your personal lifestyle and the ability to work those differentials

Hi Patrong, I think I've figured out approximately what you make (don't worry I will not say anything) - I really appreciate your transparency My question is: do you feel like you got lucky in this urgent care setting and this pay, or is it realistic for most PAs to be able to earn like this?
