lets say today the gold price is 5000 per gram and I have deposited 200 gms of pure gold (value Rs 10 lakhs) So as interest for 1st year on MTGD, I will earn Rs 22,500 per annum And lets say in year three the price increases to Rs 6000 per gram so does my interest income also increase to 27,000 per annum? If the principal value of the deposit is not revalued for the interest calculation, then I makes sense to redeem and redeposit at existing valuation for better interest income

What's the point of buying gold if it's taken by the banks via government shit and can track your wealth! People buy gold to make the wealth transfer untraceable and have financial freedom We can buy car, house using gold coins these days anywhere in the world

Thanks for the detailed information I am very much interested in this scheme but not getting responses from Pune SBI main branch They are saying since there less response for this scheme in Pune, I have to go to Mumbai branch I am not convinced, still chasing up Pune authorities

1) Let's say you deposit 50gm bullion which is 995 purity Now at the time of maturity can we ask for same purity bar as it was deposited What is Advisable to have cash or gold at maturity for 10-12 yrsbr2) Lock in price is on units at the time of deposit So say 1 lac worth of gold for say 10 yrs Will I not get interest on the unit price of gold as the gold price increase over years Why should we get interest on 1lac only when the price of gold may be say 2 or 5 lac over timebrbrYour video was very informative Also is the deposit gold insured by GOI
