These are one of the most educational coin series made in recent years As for their lack of popularity it is due to the mediocre designs of the Presidential portraits Some were pretty good but they paled to the Native American coins which were competing wih them brbrThey time of getting rolls of Presidential dollar rolls is becoming more and more difficult as time passes You can find these easily from bank in well-circulated to circulated condition The ones in very high uncirculated condition you can get from the Uncirculated sets Unfortunately the demand is still not strong for them but as more heirs to these collections are told to spend them the population looks to drop over the next decade or two If you have money in the bank purchasing a box of $1 coins is $1,000 as you will likely to find some Sac/Native American and Presidential dollar proofs as well as nice MS as well as tons of circulated ones (especially tons of Susan B Anthonys) brbrThe really valuable Presidential dollar coins are those reverse proofs issued in the coin and currency sets for those that were not issued into circulation The Eisenhower coin and chronicles has an excellent premium as sales of these were low and the presentation with its info is excellent Right now in 2022 you can still get P and D George Bush dollar coins and the Bush coin and chronicle set (this does offer a reverse proof but the price tage is a little hefty for clad coinage - $120, worth getting if you have extra funds as I think this will be a low sale set - catalogusmintgov/coins/coin-programs/bush-presidential-coins/?_ga=2915218110099055711656553347-5511732741595023968)
