Vivint is one of the worst companies I’ve ever got looped into a contract with The summary is the person selling you the service and products does not have the power to actually enable the “promotions” they are promising you I’ve been getting over charged since the first month and have called countless of times just to get passed around the customer service department When a device gets triggered they just send you a message on your phone A handful of time my alarm got set of accidentally they didn’t even send a message They also never sent me any of the welcome materials they were supposed to Basically if you call customer service about an issue they will pass you around until someone just says yes or they’re putting in a ticket just to get rid of you I am counting the days that I am no longer under contract

We have Vivint and we have been waiting for two extra cameras for almost a year and when you call customer service they don’t speak good English we have problems with our door locks all the time our smoke alarm goes all all the time for no reason

I’ve had Vivint for a few months now Probably one of the best experiences I’ve had For equipment and monitoring I pay less than $80 a month And the app makes it so much better Hardly ever have to go to the control center Just use my phone

Stay Away from Vivint! Once you pay for the equipment you wont have the same services if you don't have an active account that's right Won't be able to use the app won't be able to get support Cameras start failing Unable to see past events If you lose internet you are screwed if out of town In a nutshell This system sucks

Oh dear I am so glad I ran into you I just was simply save my neighbor has this vivid he was saying they can cut off your Wi-Fi with a Wi-Fi jammer it was a YouTuber on there he got in the house with the jammer and he goes oh that's a little disconcerting I'm going like what the hell you got in the house she held it so I'm just freaking out cuz I bought ring that was crap now I'm having doubts about simply sick I'm hoping you will straighten out cuz I was I was going to send this stuff back tomorrow and get vivid oh God I'm so worried about what you're going to say because vivid costs so much money so I feel like God directed me towards you this is going to be good after these long-ass commercials

We were never very happy with Vivint from the beginning but we really started to hate it when someone stole a large concrete saw out of the back of the pickup and somehow the Vivint camera failed to record the event! Like how can it be so bad that it misses something happening right in front of it! Not even 20 ft away

lol has anyone even seen the reports on vivint? The sales people literally harrass and LIE to people, claiming ADT or their provider was shut down, they claim to be licensed by police, and they show up at 10 pm at a senior citizens house, unannounced and with NO BUSINESS being there They STOLE PEOPLES IDENTITIES to open lines of credit, even using fake pre-paid cards of their OWN to open and pay into accounts to inflate their numbers for bonuses DO NOT EVER USE VIVINT, EVER

I actually work for Vivint And I watched your video and you are not relating factual information There is no contract with Vivint We offer financing for 60 months and that includes your monthly monitoring and your equipment We also have door-to-door sales reps that come into neighborhood promoting our products and wave installation costs and equipment fees which saves them $400 You should probably do more research on the company:)

I had Vivint, you forgot to cover how cameras and extra touch pads have to be hard wired The Vivint techs plug transformers into different electric outlets inside the house and attempt to run wires to outside cameras The finished product installation doesn’t look professional I also purchased my equipment up front (3 outdoor camera, contact sensors in doors/windows, environmental sensors and extra panels) and paid monitoring for 4 years When I cancelled my monitoring, it took 3 months before they stopped auto billing my credit card Essentially, I paid to have monitoring 2 months after I moved out of the house It took monthly calls to cancel before they finally quit billing No apology or no offer to refund, good luck getting the overseas representatives to help

a lot of this is incorrect, but vivint is the still by far the best home security company, most high tech by far, amazing quick monitoring, and just an awesome system, vivint got me solar as well

As a Vivint customer I can tell you that Vivint falls down hard on actual in home service support Our cellphone app functionality has been non-operational for weeks despite numerous calls and chats to Vivint support We cannot view our cameras, get alerts or arm/disarm our multi-camera, every door/window, motion sensor system that we pay dearly for in monthly monitoring fees “No available appointments” tells me that new installs take priority over long time customer needs It is taking a month just to get an appointment to hopefully get my service back online after spending hours on the phone with basic and advanced levels of support I’m looking for alternatives
