The Forest River is my choice Why do these makers put dinettes in the smallest of trailers? Very disappointed in the Winnie's poor design It's not like them This trailer is a "what were they thinking"? The shower is ridiculous The other high tech looking blue lit units don't do anything for me It's camping, hello Nature etc The people that like those campers are the type that think roughing it is turning the a/c unit down to medium

Creagan Dubh
That Nu Camp trailer looks amazing!

C D
Winnebago Hike! Very nice!
Comment from : C D

Aline Henley
LIKE THE RIVER R POD 189 BUT WOULD IT BE TOO BIG STILL FOR A HONDA CRV
Comment from : Aline Henley

John Meeks
On the first camper you show, the stove is reversed because of the way the door opens Wish it had an awning over the kitchen area
Comment from : John Meeks

G H
I' believe I saw in another video, where you flip up the bottom bunk towards the middle of the camper and the outside door gives you access to a now large storage area
Comment from : G H

Mr One
That was incredibly thorough and informative! I have a minivan and I was curious as if I could haul anything And this video made it perfectly clear that I can❤
Comment from : Mr One

Louanne Keast
I love the factcyou reviewed a hybird We have a 2020 Kodiak Cub hybird and we just love it We love the bed ends because like you said it still gives you the feel of tent camping We live in Ont Canada and we camp even in the fall
Comment from : Louanne Keast

Tom Middleton
These are dry weights GVWR is what matters for legality But thanks for trying
Comment from : Tom Middleton

Jersey Jim
That Nucamp is absolutely perfect The prep room around the sink is unmatched And that wet bath with the sink is clever 👍

parkcitymacs
Well Presented! However, is only a review for mostly lower quality cheap trailers? Lance has a 2600 lb and a 3200 lb, which they don’t generally fake the weights if you read their MSRP actual shipping weights Plus, they work well in hot or cold climates because the trailers are true 4 seasons While not perfect at least with Lance, many would argue, in terms of certain features, designs, and construction areas put airstream to shamebrbrAfter a year any looking at RV’s before a purchase , in fact every one of the trailers you highlighted, as a mechanical engineer I was horrified to find gaps in manufacturing, quality or just lack of basic construction in these brands you listedbrbrWhat about a review on construction such as the poor weld beads say in the Intech frame Just crawl under you will see it; there are few perfectly “ stacked dimes in the aluminum welds” or show how wood should never be nailed or stapled in any cabinet versus welded , Seam joined, screwed or do on How about something really basic such as showing why trailers like forest river and Winnebago have trim Trim to hide hand assembled panels , walls, roof gaps because they don’t use precision Cnc and Robotic assembly brbrOn Hike, for example, maybe highlight just simple things as the tiny hinges , screws missing or misaligned The Jayco crawl up on the roof and see how many gaps are in the self leveling seams Or why its bad to have glass windows that suck the heat out Clearly a plus for the NuCamp brbrMaybe take a trailer in the cold and use a thermal camera to show heat leaks Or why intech not having insulated walls can freeze anyone laying next to it in the bedbrbrWhat about Towing say on a basic course Show Why off road biased tires deflect on narrow axels like the Jayco and Hike say with a half a tank of water in fresh and grey versus good quality trailer bias tires Maybe show which trailers handle the or how dangerous trailers like the Hike and Jay feather can be Most these trailers lie about their weights so maybe weigh all the trailers and actual tongue weights so people don’t overload their small trucks brbrWhat about the change in the industry when imports start showing up? The European standards are much higher and they make trailers far less even with importing Soon Americans will be able to buy light quality , if you look at European caravans, say like the KNAUS Desso, or the SWIFT trailers when they start importing them Maybe a review on is it better to wait for the European invasion or take your chance on American trailers brbrThese things are why so many people buy and rv and can not wait to get out of it or get rid of them If reviews tore apart the junk showed the lack of craftsmanship it would save injuries, accidents, financial loss and force this industry to start good manufacturing practicesbrbrIn order to contrast the “ you get what you pay for “ or “you get it and have to fix it new” , it would have been nice if you included an airstream, maybe true new ATC single axel trailer , and a Lance

Comment from : billy shen

Matthias Weigel

Comment from : Matthias Weigel

Carrie Pomeroy
Have you ever looked at the NuCamp trailers? I am looking, as a first timer, for a small camper for me and my dog
Comment from : Carrie Pomeroy

Eric Schmidt
I’d like to see Stand up in toy haulers that are short in length, under 3500 lbs and haul an ATV! With a really good amount of fresh water capacity
Comment from : Eric Schmidt

USMC DOC
The more I watch these and see the pricing, I'm more inclined to build my own with an enclosed trailer Least I can put a small wood burning stove in it and take my harley
Comment from : USMC DOC

Susan Kitchin
Was that a skylight window over the bed?
Comment from : Susan Kitchin

Comment from : Kelly Sanders

sarah kamala
The Soul with the huge bed and wrap around wndows is what I like the best Could I pull it with a 2002 Cadallac Escallade?
Comment from : sarah kamala

austin shaffer
Thanks for making this! I've got an 09 grand cherokee capped out @ 3500lbs towing and looking for something under 3k lbs! Been eyeballing the rpods a lot, but this video made me reconsider while looking at the Tabs! Have seen a few and bypassed them, but the more I look the more I like them! Looking for one for myself and my wife the storage window snapping back and your reaction was priceless too lol thanks for sharing again!
Comment from : austin shaffer

kululv
you definitely missed the point of this video! In your other video for trailers under 4000lbs you correctly used the relevant GVWR In this one you went to the empty-weight UVWR this is pretty much useless because by law the GVWR is relevant And it is also the reason why some of the trailers appear in both videos It would have been great if you would have pointed out that the Intech Explorer is available with 2 pop-outs, but also that the headroom is lousy the kitchen points forward, so you can use it with the door open!
Comment from : kululv

Nicole Adams
Thank you for all of your very informative videos and thank you for presenting the info in an enjoyable manner 😁
Comment from : Nicole Adams

007NunyaBizNess

Comment from : Hank Remer

Bob Vedder
I like the off roadable (mild terrain) trailers
Comment from : Bob Vedder

Sharla Patriot
I like that last one I can see me & my doggo doing some exploring in that!
Comment from : Sharla Patriot

Greg Mitchell
I don't know if you ever got an answer to why the stove on the Flyer Explorer opens that way, but it's because they make a model with 2 pop-outs, so the second pop-out would prevent you from standing on that side of the stove
Comment from : Greg Mitchell

Daniel Spencer
We've been looking at the Jayco Jay Flight 195RB under 3,000 lb dry weight
Comment from : Daniel Spencer

Amanda Burger
Good job keeping camera video still Susan Cool trailer triailer

Kenneth Broussard
Cool
Comment from : Kenneth Broussard

Michael Davis
For the first one, I don't think the cooking stove is backwards The cooler next to it is The door opens out right into that area and it makes sense for the stove to face the way it is
Comment from : Michael Davis

RichardinNC1
My small SUV is rated at 3500 lbs therefore I want to keep a trailer under 3k to allow for loading it But it seems most have at least one significant compromise like outside kitchen or small shower, etc I like inTech, rPods and the nuCamp but haven't picked an absolute favorite
Comment from : RichardinNC1

Yvetta Grimes
Thank you for sharing

Comment from : Maryj

Chris Dooley
Let me describe my "Forest River" Experience My ultra-light camper fell apart after only 2 years The roof started leaking and the movement motors kept burning out Once you have water in the camper things go downhill fast and it starts to fall apart Those lightweight walls are aluminum and are held together with short screws that are actually screwed into Styrofoam I'm not kidding You will beg for the old wood camper days This is my third camper and it has cured me of camping forever I will go back to hotels in about 7 years when I get finished paying off this pile of junk The RV stores have campers lined up at the service bays because these things just fall apart I am in a line of 300 to just have basic repairs completed Forest River also has a 13 star rating with the Better Business Bureau Be sure to read all the reviews there before buying a camper period Buyer Beware if its a Forest River
Comment from : Chris Dooley

Ronnie Beckwith
Can you guys do RV's that a Jeep Wrangler can tow WITH bathrooms??
Comment from : Ronnie Beckwith

shirleen rodriguez
The stove opened on that side ,because if it had opened otherside you could have gotten hit by someone coming outside from trailer They would have hit them with the door Not good while cooking
Comment from : shirleen rodriguez

SavvyDrifter
Where was this show? That second "show price" was insane! Almost 10k off?
Comment from : SavvyDrifter

Joel Reeves
The stove top at 0:03:11 is so you don’t block the door path of people trying to get in or out brbrIt makes a lot of sense to turn the burner like that
Comment from : Joel Reeves

Travel Dreamer46
Like the nuCamp Nice design Cabinets look sturdy Would enjoy seeing if Oliver makes a small one
Comment from : Travel Dreamer46

Elsie- inFlorida
Lying in bed with the refrigerator right there alongside of you, also the dream!
Comment from : Elsie- inFlorida

Greg D
inTech Flyer Explorer - I think the stove top cover opens in the correct direction, so the person cooking is not in the way of/blocking the door to the trailer
Comment from : Greg D

ITCHYisVegeta
I really like that Winnebago Hike toward the end of the video, despite the small shower I just wish the bed folded into a couch for additional seating
Comment from : ITCHYisVegeta

Jenn-X
I like the last one
Comment from : Jenn-X

Comment from : JL Mur

AJOYS
The amount discounted off MSRP is very different depending on the trailer Some of them, like the Jayco, are discounted 40brbrIs 40 a normal discount for these type of travel trailers?
Comment from : AJOYS

Comment from : Manny PVD

Latebird
Do you think putting a TV in a camper will be obsolete pretty soon as people use their iPad or PC? Personally, I don’t like to see the TV on the wall I like it when you give your opinions Thank you for great videos
Comment from : Latebird

Lois McGurk
Hi there! We are contemplating buying a small pull behind and I came across your channel and wanted to say I enjoy your content very much! It's like talking things over with a friend while getting lots of useful information Love it! I did wonder what your opinion was of the Riverside Retro camper line We are looking at the 179, but really need a professional opinion since we have only tent camped so far Any information would be appreciated! Keep doing what you're doing so well! And thank you!
Comment from : Lois McGurk

We really like our 17ft coachmen clipper with front walk around queen bed It doesn't have the bunks or slide out but it's perfect for the 2 of us We bought it new in 2016 and it's only 2,750 poundsbrWe tow it with my fj cruiser I installed a in line tranny cooler to be safe and also a prodigy p3 brake controller
Comment from : D A

1Antiquejunkietc
Can't believe the prices on most of these As you can get much more and cheaper I do realize some would like for smaller SUV'S etc That's where I am as I find out my Honda CRV AWD has NO Towing Capacity So now looking at ones with truck like I grew up with Grandparents camping & fishing with These and some Van's are really awesome I also see your link here to ck out and rent 1st to exactly what I want to do Thanks again for great content
