I have several of the different designs from the, 1976 bicentennial Sterling silver Mint Token series brThe best one is 3in in diameter and wages 260+ grams of Sterling brThanks for sharing your gold coin I dont think people recognize real value, like 90 gold or 925 Silver anymore

Regarding 6:54, there were 3 sizes for the gold proof National Bicentennial medals minted in 90 Gold alloyed with 10 Silver which is known as Green Gold, because it has a greenish yellow color The Smallest size Statue of Liberty Gold Proof Medal was 23mm in diameter, weighed 128 grams with a fine gold content of 03735 troy oz, sold for $100 each and had a final mintage of 16,181 The Larger size Statue of Liberty Gold Proof Medal was 336mm in diameter, weighed 403 grams with a fine gold content of 1166 troy oz, sold for $400 each and had a final mintage of 5,396 Finally the Extra Large 3 inch diameter Gold Proof National Bicentennial Medal weighed 462 grams with a fine gold content of 1337 troy oz and sold for $4,000 each See it @ coinshacom/itm/us-mint-medals/1976-ms-swo-521aa-national-bicentennial-medal-pr64-ngc/a/1257-3342s

Sal,brFound a bunch on Ebay Was asking sellers of Silver Medals what their weight was One seller said a little over 1troy oz in capsule Looked excellent and had OGP, COA and was never out of the capsuleWell it was $1795 including S&H and had 30 day return so i bought it Now have two and have to find a real Gold one There's almost 1100 anniversary coins listed but i am so burnt out from buying the last 2 weeks or so it can wait

Beautiful metal I love look the mint puts out and I'm the same way I keep my stuff with the original packaging I don't believe in Grading my coins unless I think it's fake or something but I buy from Robert rubel people And places like APM EX and all the Other places Thank you for the video SAL I have never seen a medals So beautiful in my life

I read about those Bicentennial medals in my Redbook I dig the gold medal It's interesting that your gold medal was issued 2 years after the ban on private gold ownership was lifted in 1974 Your gold medal is possibly the first gold piece the US Mint made in many years

In 1976 I was in a Navy Advanced Combat Medic Course in Texas Two years later I picked up the Silver Medal I remember seeing it for the first time and seeing the Eagle on back and had to have it I've haven't bought a Gold one yet but have seen one Beautiful Medals!brGreat job again Sal!
