Of course it is It's matching the employment market Lectures, Course work and case studies are done online with your classmates using teams and or zoom Just as you are on the job with clients, stakeholders and co workers I think it's a great benefit that employers don't have to train entry-level employees how to use and implement virtually Working and playing remotely is the future Comment from : 404TRUCKER |

My university had shifted to online mode in wake of COVID-19 pandemic in March 2020 and remained that way till February of this year Having studied that way, I can say online education definitely has edge over the offline in certain situaitons Some courses were better taught and learnt online than they are being done now This online mode of education needs to be researched furthur to improve the effectiveness in other situaitons as well, thus the true potential of this mode of education can be harnessed at a larger scale Comment from : Aidid Rashed Efat |

In the end, it won't be worth it because whether it is online classes or presence classes, no university will teach you how to work or prepare you for the job market with the skills you need to do a competent job without having to depend on a supervisor who has to check the quality of your work Universities are all a scam including Harvard Comment from : The Tito TV Show |

current online MBA student here, at Syracuse University Martin j Whitman School of Management, and small business owner For me going for my MBA online was a no brainer I initially did it to assist me in my business I am half way through my program and have learned a TON! I find that Whitman offers a significant amount of networking opportunities, many classes have collaborative assignments, and you get plenty of access to your teachers and fellow students Many employers no longer differentiate and iMBA from a traditional MBA, especially since, at least at Whitman, it is literally the same curriculum taught by the same professors Plus, unlike traditional B schools or many other iMBA programs, Syracuse offers more flexibility in scheduling and pace of earning degree Luckily, As a local Syracuse area resident, I still have FULL access to campus and all the services provided by it if I so choose to exercise it One of the biggest things I learned is I want to make a career shift, simply for more networking opportunities in business itself, at least temporarily The other glorious part of my program is I am currently going through the interview process for a position, as an MBA student, that is usually reserved for MBA graduates, simply because of the strength of the program Now, Syracuse's MBA in all concentrations but Entrepreneurship and Emerging Enterprises are STEM designated as wellbrbr I think the bottom line is this: Do your research, go to a school with a great reputation and has a track record for sending graduates into the company you want to be at Remember, just like Undergrad, choosing the right grad school matters! brbrGiven the chance to go back and change my decision to attend Syracuse University's Whitman School or another program, I would choose Whitman every time GO ORANGE! Comment from : Hello Moto |

This is the time where people can add any of the desired degree online I have two degrees from conventional universities in my country and earned two online degrees from other countries I also earned tons of certificates from MOOC's and diplomas with any level from online providers I don't have spesific reason Maybe because I'm a diploma addict! Before pandemic, distance learning education has been a trend and it went up even more after pandemic hit From now on, learning will never be the same again Nice review btw Comment from : Nedwin LH |

I’m currently doing my Master’s in Cybersecurity cyber physical systems track at the Georgia Institute of Technology, and I gotta say that it’s been a good decision I get to expand my knowledge as a relay field engineer and will only be paying around $10000 for the tuition of the entire program Even though it’s time consuming, your learn a lot and work on really cool projects I do believe the ROI will be worth all the sacrifice I would recommend this degree to anyone, especially to those who wish to expand their knowledge on how to secure ICS Comment from : dbass_minister |

I would recommend looking at the accreditation that each school has I know a lot of state school have the same accreditation as major universities LSU Shreveport is AACSB accredited and is only $11K for an MBA (on-site/online) That is the same accreditation as the University of Michigan and Arizona State University - leading universities for business graduates brbrBe smart with your research, you can definitely find an affordable option for graduate school Comment from : Blake Donoho |

Okay this video leave out a lot of facts to make it's argument The first should be the obvious, why are people with advance degrees (masters Level) find it extremely difficult to find a job? This should be the number one question since college debt is easy to pay off with stable income To answer this question we need to look at the job market to see the demand of Jobs in different markets To say that a person with a master degree can't find a high paying job during my mom's education period is unheard of (around mid 90s) What change? The reason being that higher education is getting more saturated each day, so this devalue college education The number of jobs did went up but there are too many people graduating each year to fill these position This is the problem, making education more accessible is only going to make this problem worst So if we look at the JOBS market, physical technical jobs (blue collar) are in a very high demand while high education (white collar) jobs are in low demand Nothing about the position had change, it's just that too many people are going into education and are not willing to work blue collar jobs afterwards I am a certified mechanic and I am getting job offers daily for these position paying in the 6 figures Can you imagine being a car mechanic pays more than some doctoral degree position in today's market? I really do want us to rethink the value of education, it's not the end all be all to have a good income I think most young kids coming out of high school should go into the work market for a couple years first, save up some money, build up there resume and decide weather they really want to go to college Comment from : David Capobianco |
|
If your company doesn’t pay for it, don’t get one Comment from : Deez_nutz1981 |

Cost is the reason that I’m doing an online Masters in the UK My program is offered by the University of York, a highly rated university, and it costs $5-6000 per year for 2 years - half the tuition (or less!) of most public US universities However, there are a few price competitive online programs in the US, too - Georgia Tech and CUNY are two universities that come to mind University of the People is a fantastic deal, too, if they offer what you are looking for It’s worthwhile to shop around Unless the school in question is Harvard, Yale, Stanford, etc few employers will care where you went to school - they will only want to know that you went to school, received reasonable grades, and finished what you started Comment from : Negev Herbals |

If you want a master’s or even a doctorate, just go study in Japan or in Europe Universities there are cheap German and Danish public universities are basically free I currently study in Japan, and tuition is so cheap either world class education I only pay around $6,000 per semester full time Universities help cover your insurance and transport costs In the US, tuition is freakin high it’s disgusting Education should not be that expensive Comment from : 富原正博 |

I agree the cost that the students are paying for online master degree it’s not the same experience as in person I actually think that the a online graduate program should not be the same cost as someone who is going in person However having an option for an online graduate it’s great for parents like me If that wasn’t option I wouldn’t be able to get my graduate degree I work full time and is a single parent I would even have the time to go in person I believe this video should have included some millennials (the ones who are in their 30s) and parents I graduate with my BS in 2011(worse unemployment in the US) Comment from : TheMelaninMilf |
|
I am in favour of online education, agreed that the online platform has to improve a bit But online is the future You have internet, what's the purpose if we don't utilise internet and reduce the cost of regular college Comment from : Shadul Nazeem Nazeem |

Theory: Colleges will counteract this growing issue wiith offering more accelerated BA/MA/MBA, BS/MS, BFA/MFA, programs to get MORE students interested in shelving out hundreds of thousands of dollars to get more "credentials" the new carrot on the stick will be PhD, PysD degrees Comment from : Rachelle Clarke |
