👉🏽 My first $100k tracker (free): nischame/personal-finance-trackerbrbrBeen getting more views on this video than I expected Thanks for watching! Just to clarify - there are expenses that I don't cover in this video because they go into my 'business expenses' as opposed to my monthly 'personal expenses' So whilst it may look like I must be saving a lot, in reality a lot of it gets reinvested The key message I hope to convey is where possible, live below your means and (re)invest Xx Comment from : Nischa |

I can understand Nischa living in London because of her job, but why anyone who doesn't 'need' to live there would actually do so is beyond me It's a bloody awful place Hideously expensive, massively over-crowded, Bangkok-levels of gridlock, high crime even relative to the rest of the UK, and people generally are rude/have a piss-poor attitude And thanks to Brexit morons, London has lost its place as a prime financial hub, so Nischa might not need to stay there for too long anyway Comment from : The Mancunian Candidate |
It is kind of strange for me that you do not include the costs for health insurance in your fixed expenses Comment from : Chimaera_23 |

Hello @nischa, great thanks for sharing the finance tracker template, although, if I loaned a friend a sum amount of money, where does it fit in your template? Comment from : Georges Ghoussoub |
I think some of these figures provided here on lunch dont seem very realistic unless you eat at pret, but for example i also work in the City and farmer j meal coats 10 quid, add a drink to that and maybe coffee you get easily to 14-16 quid range I am not even talking about if you want to grab another coffee or crisp or a chocolate Yea you can eat relatively cheaply but its gonna be cheap sandwiches which are ultimately not very good for your health and without extra luxuries, certainly not for 8-9 pounds I mean artisan coffee costs between 360-4 quid in the city London is extremely expensive so unless you are making 6 figures saving anything is very hard Comment from : Slavik |

One thing knowing London that surprises me is your low housing outgoings, (in this case mortgage payment) as I'd say typical 2 beds in a primeish location usually rent for at least GBP2-25k pcm and mortgage repayments with current rates would also be meaningfully more (around 25-3k assuming proeprty value ca 650k, 25ltv @45 rate) Seems you have double benefit of a large amount of equity (w your loan estimated at ca 300k) and having locked in a very low rate Fair enough! How long did you manage to fix for? Comment from : Matt C |
But how much do you make ? Comment from : Skylar Marchae |

how does she spend only £100/month on train when a zone 1/2 monthly ticket is just under £150/month, unless she works and lives only in zone 3&4 which is £110 a month, but there isn't many banker jobs outside zone 1&2 Comment from : systemchris |
You spend more than average salary in the UK by a couple hundred pounds and that's not including a car, insurance, childcare, fuel, really tiny budget for groceries as you sometimes have expensed lunches Not criticising you but rather pointing out the crazy prices, how on earth are young people or people who earn much less than you meant to sustain themselves and save for a mortgage if basic living expenses are so high Current economy is demotivating 🥴 Comment from : Mazza 9520 |
