Regarding the difference in value between the CC and O privy mark and the S and D mintmark taking into account that CC and O had a 10 household limit S and D had a 3 household limit All things may seem equal at a 175,000 mintage But, have you considered that 17,500 people own those 175,000? And 58,333 people got the opportunity to own the S and D mint marks? Even if 25,000 people own the 175,000 CC and O mint mark it explains the supply and demand value of CC and O Also Carson City and New Orleans mints are gone People buying on the secondary market are not going to sell or flip those coins for less than they paid for them driving the CC and O up even higher over time Comment from : Frank Liso

This time around, the process of buying the D, S Morgans, although not perfect, was better than the CC, O ones I got mine now and content with the result, bur still grieved by no CC one I dearly wanted I still have a reminder present for a CC one despite notice to remove in case a cancellation develops I agree with the analysis presented, but the privy CC's are going to be higher value regardless of time passed I can then instruct a dealer to buy one for the best deal on my behalf Comment from : Alan Jel
