Working in retail they tell u the difference but holding it to the light you’ll see a security seal imprinted behind the person on the bill (for $50 & $100) , and they’re clothes are textured so you can scratch them with ur fingernail and feel the grooves, there are also smaller numbers on the back of the bank note to help prevent the photocopy of bills, and depending on the bill when you hold it to the light you’ll see the watermark saying what type of bill it is
