I just have to start out by saying thank you guys, first off my name is Tate and I'm 15 years old and if it weren't for you I would have not got into this incredible hobby of metal detecting I started watching your videos about 5 years ago and haven't stopped since I live in Florida which makes it hard to find older homes but In the 5 years of detecting me and my dad have found 30 silver coins, the best one being a 1917 SLQ in amazing shape I just wanted to thank you for sharing your amazing hunts and one day I hope to take a trip up to the Midwest and find some older silver So once again thank you for sharing this amazing hobby and I look forward to seeing more of your huntsbrbrSincerely, Tate Jorgensen Comment from : ItzTJgamer |

"Civil War Artillery Gunners Hammer", I could be mistaken but if it has a prybar handle, it's more likely a Hammer-headed Double tree Pin I found one very similar this past year and did a bit of research In doing so I discovered the relic went by several names Hammer-headed Double tree Pin, Wagon Hammer, Double tree Linch Pin, etc It was a multi-tool used on the earlier Conestoga Wagons It went out of use, being replaced by the Wagon Wrench The gold coins definitely took center stage Comment from : BrianE63 |
