Seeing a lot of posts on here wondering why it takes so long and why there is a fee I will break it down as a former bank employee In the US, we have someone within every single bank that looks at outgoing wire transfers and if it seems suspicious, the bank contacts the customer to ensure that it is legit I see a lot of comments about India and Denmark for instant transfers You are most likely referring to an internal bank transfer and not a bank wire This is very different as internal bank transfers have very, very low risk and instant External wires have high risk as once the bank authorizes the transfer, you cannot get the money back without pursing legal action and this is pointless if it is sent to a scammer as you will likely have no information on them Comment from : WhiskeyS |
