Comment from : Diablo

Jonathan Edwards

Comment from : Jonathan Edwards

A*Real*♂️
It's hard to believe Mantle died in 96 He seemed like a fossil when I was growing up, but I was 11 when he passed
Comment from : A*Real*♂️

Murl Bailer
I think I have most of those all ungraded Can’t seem to sell them? 🐎🦁
Comment from : Murl Bailer

‘Bullish’ Ole Pal
During the plandemic, I attended an Estate Sale that hardly had any attention and attendance due to the “lockdowns” but, I put on a double mask and copped about 15,000 cards from the 90’s baseball, football, basketball and nascar for about $250 ( I wish I had the knowledge and time to appreciate and appraise each one )
Comment from : ‘Bullish’ Ole Pal

BROWNS CARDS 95
I hate Donruss so much chasing those damn Elite cards, never pulled one & I opened tons of boxes back when they came out LOL
Comment from : BROWNS CARDS 95

Jackson Lloyd

Pyro Mike

Comment from : Pyro Mike

B H
If none of your cards are graded, are they worthless?
Comment from : B H

Dufex of Life
None of these will ever qualify as Vintage cards in the future?
Comment from : Dufex of Life

Anthony K
I have been on the hunt for a PSA 10 of frank Thomas and Jeff bagwell in the 92 fleer rookie sensations I can’t find one anywhere I know they are condition sensitive but have you ever seen these two in a 10?
Comment from : Anthony K

LastLetterisZed@702
Hey Chris! I remember going back and forth on deciding which World Series homerun was the most important You said when Kirk Gibson coming off the bench injured in the 1st game of the 1988 World Series - Oakland A's vs the LA Dodgers with a walk-off homerun I said it was the walk-off homerun by Joe Carter to repeat Championships in 1992 and 1993 I also asked you prior to the 2023 MLB Season if you were pumped up about the World Baseball Classic And I was shocked that you said it was no where near your favourite event In fact, you didn't like it at all

BLYKMYK44
Is the Frank Thomas no name the only topps card with that error? Or did it hit all cards?
Comment from : BLYKMYK44

BLYKMYK44
The 90 Leaf set was amazing I remember issues of Beckett when literally every card was going up
Comment from : BLYKMYK44

Chris C
The 93 Finest Baseball Nolan Ryan refractor I'd love to own but I drive a beat up Toyota Camry so it will remain a dream just like the 68 Venezuelan Regular Roller who still dreams big Thanks Chris for bringing me back to the 90s Great memories!
Comment from : Chris C

dsg148
How many of the Ripken autos do you have in your PC, and what's the highest grade?
Comment from : dsg148

BobbyTaco
I have 2 copies of the 93 SP Jeter One is a PSA 8, the other is a 95 from a company called PRO Any thoughts on what that might translate in terms of potential value?brbrI also have a 94 Upper Deck SP A-Rod graded 98 from PRO as well brbrThey both look noticeably nice Just curious if this company is trash or not
Comment from : BobbyTaco

Hugh Monte
Awesome
Comment from : Hugh Monte

Corey Dozhier
The '93 Topps Black Gold Griffey has fewer 10's than the Finest Refractor and is worth a fraction of the value Why is that??
Comment from : Corey Dozhier

OldManDarrell
I pulled the Griffey refractor back in 93 when I was working at a card shop I traded it to a different card/comic shop for Amazing Spider-man 100, 101 and 121, all in great shape I no longer have the books and the comic shop closed 25 years ago lol
Comment from : OldManDarrell

Rated Rookie
Fantastic breakdown Love these lists and appreciate everything you do for the hobby
Comment from : Rated Rookie

Victor Svorinich
Thanks Chris By 1990 I was out of card collecting and chasing girls This brings me up to speed on what I missed
Comment from : Victor Svorinich

Livin with LT
Thank you for dropping that knowledge I’m definitely look for that Michael Jordan third card rookie as I’m a diehard fan of him I also ripped the Derek Jeter card that was in the middle out of a Walgreens repack :-)
Comment from : Livin with LT

Sam Kessler
The 1994 Bowman Jorge Posada sold for 300 in August of 2021 That was me Card was so hard to find and when I saw it pop up on ebay, I just had to have it Let's roll
Comment from : Sam Kessler

Robert Anderson
Cool! I have a good number of these, including THREE '91 Topps Chippers (one in a '91 Topps complete set sealed box), and 2 Jordan SP1's (pulled them 31 years apart)! All raw of course, just glad to own Thanks!
Comment from : Robert Anderson

Raymond Fish
Had never seen that 93 Score Franchise auto set That is WILD and incredibly cool
Comment from : Raymond Fish

coolstang1968
I loved that 92 bowman set So much that i went everything buting it Ended up making 7 sets of it
Comment from : coolstang1968

John VanLuvanee
Actually pulled the Nolan Ryan Legend, but I was too scared to trade it for Gretzky rookie Cards of my youth Had to have the Frank Thomas Leaf and traded several good 86-87 Fleer Basketball cards for it Forgot about some of those sets Still have them all, and my dad has a nice Stadium Club sheet hanging in the basement
Comment from : John VanLuvanee

DC
Back of the card simply says "BO" but love how they used team color of Royals blue and Raiders black Simply the Best sports card channel on YT!
Comment from : DC

tubenachos
Never heard "Basically" so many times in a video 😂 good stuff Chris
Comment from : tubenachos

Gabriel S
Jeter has to be the most overrated player of all time
Comment from : Gabriel S

Yammie0
Score 1992 mantle auto?
Comment from : Yammie0

Guy H
As a Jordan aside, he purchased the NBA Hornets for $275 million and sold them within the last couple of days for $3 BILLION
Comment from : Guy H

Andrew Deutsch
Do you think the Veterans Committee will vote for Jeff Kent to make the hall of fame? He was obviously a very good hitter, subpar to average defense, though the greatest amount of home runs at his position, at least puts him in the conversation
Comment from : Andrew Deutsch

Andrew Deutsch
Griffey Jr and Jeter dominated the 90'sChipper Jones was my guy too, though Him, and Maddux I loved watching the Atlanta Braves back in the day when, they were on TBS
Comment from : Andrew Deutsch

spic0li
I sometimes wonder with these #/5000 auto's etc if the player really did hand sign all of them You'd think in their busy lives the last thing they feel like doing is sitting there for half a day signing the same card 5000times
Comment from : spic0li

Leonard
Is it just me, or did Mantle have the best looking signature in baseball? Pete Rose has a nice one too, but Mantles tops it for me
Comment from : Leonard

Rascal30
The difference in registration and/or clarity of the no name Frank Thomas makes me think a fake slipped past PSA So many fakes of any cards are blurred or pixelated like that no name May be legitimate but my spidey senses are tingling
Comment from : Rascal30

Matthew Elliott
Great list update! Thanks Chris--thumbs up! My dreams of finding one of these in my old common boxes lives on
Comment from : Matthew Elliott

kled10
Awesome video I’ll never forget that Upper Deck Reggie Jackson auto The Joe Montana followed shortly after in 1991 It was such a crazy idea to have an autograph from the factory The 90’s really established the hobby as we see it today Great content, Chris!
Comment from : kled10

Dufex of Life
I think the 1992 UD Heroes Bench/Morgan Auto was the first dual auto, while the 1992 Score Mantle/Yaz/Musial was out same time and would be first Triple Auto; not sure of exact set issue during 1992 calendar
Comment from : Dufex of Life

Matthew Santacroce
During this era my father would give me 20/wk to use at LCS, could get anything , packs , singles, set ,whatever One week they had this new finest product , 20 a pack, which was crazy at the time and my father thought I was crazy for using all 20 on one pack Hit a John Kruck refractor from that pack The following week got one more pack and got the Griffey AS base Good times 😎
Comment from : Matthew Santacroce

Jeffrey Lanier
That 93 Finest set refractors Did those have players such as Ken Griffey Jr, Mark McGuire, Juan Gonzalez, Mo Vaughn (Bleacher Bombers) etc? brSorry i look it was Topps 1987
Comment from : Jeffrey Lanier

David Thompson
Chris;br You never told us if you own a copy of that rare Cal Ripken card you had at #10 on your list If not, maybe one of your loyal viewers might have it socked away somewhere? As for myself, I don’t own one!
Comment from : David Thompson

Sam Hill
7:40 I inadvertently recreated the coffee spit gif when Chris described the back of the Bo Jackson card 😂
Comment from : Sam Hill

farlow126
Great video!brI believe the 91 Bowman Jeff Bagwell and the 90 Topps Griffey should of been on the base card list The Bagwell goes for over $300 and the 90 Topps Griffey goes for around $400 in a PSA 10
Comment from : farlow126

Carl Mohr
Way back in 92 I walked into my local card shop and the dealer was fuming over the 92 Bowman case he just got It looked like it was dropped off a 10 story building 4 boxes were obliterated He asked if I wanted to buy it at cost and I laughed at him Yup Where's the time machine?
Comment from : Carl Mohr

Kris Cooper
