I was 17 and at my first job early in the morning on the west coast The news slowly started coming in and we started to realize it wasn't accidents but an attack We were told to go home So I went home and froze on my couch the rest of the day unable to stop watching Such a surreal moment I never thought much of Bush as a president but his demeanor and how he responded in that situation took a lot of strength
