Appreciate this was over a year ago, any chance of an update? What do you think of Revolut? Comment from : Emma Langhorne |

Some of these apps might sell your data, or have affiliates where they can get paid if you sign up , so it makes me feel a bit uncomfortable to trust a company to have access to all of my spending data I think I’m gunna just do it the old fashioned way with a notepad Comment from : Left Blank |

I have tried so many different apps and decided to go with Emma and the middle tier for £8399 for a year (8 months so far) and took an offer from them to renew for £4999 for next yearbrbrWith Emma I really like that I’ve got all my current accounts, credit cards and savings account add it it and within the everyday section it shows me my current account balances minus any credit card spending and has a separate section for savings and also a net worth overview section of every combined I also like the graphs for ups and downs without each sectionbrbrFurthermore, I absolutely love the ability to split transactions up multiple times(max of 14 splits per transaction) along with making custom categories, changing transaction dates, which is useful for certain credit card transactions due to the 24-48 hour delaybrbrI’ve only recently started using their budgeting section and I’ve based everything on my averages for the past 8 months of using Emma so farbrbrI really wanted monzos paid account because it does most of what Emma does and cost £5 a month (so £60 for the year) but monzo point blank refused to give me an account so decided to just go with Emma instead, which allowed me to use my credit card too and work on building up my credit report, history and score Comment from : Daniel |

Update: I watched this video (and a bunch of others) when I was looking for the best financial software a year ago I've now been using YNAB religiously for one year, and I have to tell you it's amazing By far the best financial app I've ever used, the support and user community is incredible, and it's an incredible value because you can share YNAB with up to five other people (esp great for teenage or college-aged kids) and they can have their totally separate budget You can also have multiple budgets for no extra fee, so you have have a separate budget for your side hustle, small business, etc It's fantastic and I highly recommend it I hope this helps!
