You have given me hope!!! Comment from : Robin Leach |

I know I am rooting for you to get better I have residual fatigue problems after having COVID Ugly stuff brbrI absolutely love your quilts You have a lovely stylebrbrEdit to add: I clean houses to put food on the table In those houses, 2 of my favorite quilts are super simple One is simply 85" squares of Kansas Troubles type fabrics in deep reds, cream, tans, and a bit of greens- all a bit muted Simple lines for quilting The other is a mass produced whole cloth quilt with a modern feel, just curvy colored shapes against either white or gray sections Clean lines for a fairly modern home Simple is good for many of us My favorite blocks are actually the many Disappearing Pinwheels variations and Churn Dash, but I am also wild about that 10 minute block Comment from : Morgan Osborne |

First off, apologies for the length of this comment!brI commented on another video that you've inspired me for years I am not new to sewing (home ec 34 years ago) but have only in the past few years endeavored to learn how to quilt "properly" The blankets I have sewn for my children since the 90s are well loved but simple in construction Among the plethora of quilting videos on YouTube yours have stood out to me Your kindness, realness, and genuine desire to share your artistic passion shine in this medium While recovering from my brain surgery I have been weak and have concentration issues at times The way you explain your process and teach is kind to my mind and I'm finally able to accomplish and understand sewing tasks I never could before As far as Etsy goes I've had a knitting shop there since 2012 Since recently reopening nearly all of my sales have come from offsite adds and Etsy takes a huge chunk of that I can't imagine the percentage a quilt would amount to! I have had some very interesting and high profile sales and customers that make the hassle worth it for now, but ultimately if I continue to sell I want it to be on my terms on my own site On a very personal level, our only grandson has recently been diagnosed with Autism I cannot express how wonderful it is to see Maxwell and your "Truelove" for all of your children We have 9 children ourselves, 7 girls and 2 boys They are the joy of my life, as I see your children are to you My long, rambling point is you have "it" where this medium is concerned People can see you are "real" and relatable, and making quilts out of love You and your husband have such a legacy begun, it won't be long before there are enough Truelove descendants to claim every quilt as a wonderful connection to you You are an artist and a lovely example for us beginner quilters to follow I could keep rambling but will spare you! Many blessings from Wisconsin! Comment from : TrueKnits |

|
Thank you for sharing your quilts and info about Etsy I only make quilts, totes, purses and clothes for myself and family and friends as gifts and not for money I don’t want to put in all the hours necessary to have stock to sell I do admire those who do however Prayers for you to feel 100 soon and start quilting again I enjoy all your videos 💕🙏💕 Comment from : Sandy Seely |

Sorry your still feeling unwell, this covid bug seems to have knocked so much out of many people Just so weary and tired all the time Got this horrid cold/sore throat affair about st the moment, that seems to be making people feel very poorly as well Think they did forecast a bad winter with colds , flu and the likes, so I feel they were right Anyway you just try and get yourself back on the road to recovery Take care nice to see you Comment from : Karen Toynton |

When we were in Kona we had a doctor as a neighbor at our condo and we chatted about Covid He said he sees more lingering affects in women and almost recurring affects than he does in men His wife is a nurse and she said she had it and never had headaches, now she gets one or two a week Thought that was interesting Your quilts are AMAZING & your prices seem a bit low but what an amazing purchase and gift Can’t wait till you feel good enough to start quilting again, but heal first of all ♥️♥️ Comment from : Darlene Mitchell |
|
I understand what you're saying about Etsy Just like The Farmers Market for home grown, homemade food I stopped going when people started buying from the large food companies and reselling it I was not pleased helping an individual enrich themselves through a large company That wasn't what I considered helping local farmers, and small businesses Comment from : Sarafina Leade |
|
So happy you are feeling a bit better ❤ cost of recommendation of quilts is what we should change but we would not find the customers to pay that amount of money so we charge less totally understand this ❤ hope you feel better soon greetings from Sweden 🇸🇪 Comment from : Gisela |

Your quilts are all gorgeous!!! I can’t sell my items with free shipping either The faux cakes can run well over $10000 to ship People complain about it, but they keep buying them I’ve tried including shipping in the price, but it really isn’t fair to customers who live close to have to pay double for shipping They didn’t sell as well when I tried it either, so that experiment was scrapped Take care Jean! I’m so sorry you’re dealing with long Covid! Keeping you in my prayers and hope it will improve! ❤ Comment from : Sondra Brown |
