I play as low as I can an remember I like smaller tighter kit formation But I also remember I played with the drums surrounding me an the snare between my legs an the alesis strike felt huge even brining to together So I'm confused as to weather I need small or largebrbrDoes the double kick actually work on this pad? These drums aren’t bad at all if you want top quality pay top dollar, but for the price you pay on these the pre-sets are good they sound fine The feel is good, the durability is great it has more than enough features to be able to have some fun and play along to your favorite tunes These I would recommend for everyone who wants low price and good enough to work well Not necessarily for beginners only Comment from : Elohim God

I've always wanted to play drums since I was a kid but became more serious about it couple years now but I have yet to actually own a drumset because i can't afford one lol even used sets on eBay are high but tragedy struck me around the end of last year my sister got super sick and died right before Christmas and now I'm watching her two young daughters so now it's like any hope I had of getting a drum set is gone or not anytime soon but I still will kinda practice on a homemade practice pad I made lol I even made a double bass pedal but it still needs a lil work lol but anyways I think when I can finally get a set I'll probably get this one thanks for the video Comment from : Harry Whole

I love my nitro kit I added a Simmons kick pad wired into one of the second triggers in the tom 1 position and added a second kick pedal The kick pad on the nitro kit is kind of small for a double bass pedal and results in more than a few missed triggers Wiring it into the second trigger of tom 1 works much better with less missed triggers but it will still miss if you play anything more than 1/8ths on the tom Since Im not a gigging musician or even a seasoned drummer it really doesnt affect me much but I can imagine a better drummer would find fault in it Great video Could you do a future vid that focuses more on the using it as a trigger for ez drummer I would like to learn more about using them that way Thanks in advance Comment from : Al Martinelli

This is not too bad of a drum set, for the price, which was why I bought it recently I'm not a pro drummer by any means but I too did find that the hi-hat control pedal doesn't allow for the same effects that you get from a real hi-hat The rest of the kit's good though Didn't take long to figure out how to set the volume controls and how to save a preferred kit setting It serves my purpose so I'm happy with it Comment from : Lubs Newfie

Everyone says the snare drum is too low Mine goes higher Just rotate the plastic holder that’s around the metal post to let you put the snare higher (the plastic butterflies don’t have to be upright, they can be to the side) Also anyone reading this worrying about the tightening plastic butterflies, it’s nothing to worry about because inside; the screws themselves are metal and secure 🙂 I’m enjoying my kit, one con is I wish the snare was bigger Apart from that it’s great! Great review My son is 11 and so height is ok I am 6'2 and drums are almost unplayable as way too short Also would like a bit more stability Any type of carpet with pad engulfs this and I find it quickly is twisting Good starter kit though Directions could use to be easier or more intuitive (related to programming) So far though good Christmas gift for a new drummer at 11 years old!
