i had a soulmate for both years of 2021-22 but i left her in pursuit of what was either lust or freedom; either way i found myself enjoying being lonely and after getting lead on/messed with by a couple girls, nothing serious, void of any desire for love and a romantic partner i'm pretty happy just being myself and trying to reject my habit of trying to always look good and impress, i love myself a lot more than i did a few months back and i think it's important for everyone to be single/without romance for a good chunk of time to really find themselves, whether there's someone waiting for them or not a lot of regret fills me but i think everything happens for a reason and the reason for me all of a sudden leaving behind the girl i loved for years was truly finding myself and letting go of a big part of my life she was attached to
