One thing I would recommend is putting some form of anti slip on the floor of the boat, I forget what it’s actually called, it has a name My dog slips in the boat constantly so I’m thinking ahead for Chief!

I would cut that front seat out Yes people can sit there but it takes up a lot of room Plus you have back seats for people to sit I cut it out if mine and I couldn’t be happier It opens the boat up so much more

If you are going with a surface drive motor…do not put pods on the back…you won’t get your prop in the water where you need it and the pods will interfere with you turning……

Should check out mud walker surface drives (black creek mud motors) just placed an order for a 23hp surface drive they make quality heavy duty surface drives at an affordable price

I wouldnt do the float pods with the surface drivethe pods take water off the prop or atleast they did on my buddy's boat and it didnt do well
