CONCERNING THE ISSUE OF SILVER COIN MILK-SPOTTING:brbrIt's NOT just how seemingly perfect the coin is upon its issuance from the Mint, it's all about what happens to it (often "many" years later) that's perhaps unrelated to its CAREFUL treatment - including the storage in a coin slab or otherwisebrbrSince many silver coins seemingly escape the "value destruction" of milk-spoting, there is a reasonable probability that the "minting process" is the major culprit for consideration In this regard, word has it that the Royal Canadian Mint has made worthy, preventative improvementsbrbrCONCERNING THE ISSUE OF PAYING EXTREMELY HIGH PREMIUMS OVER SPOT:brbrArtistic enjoyment is rightfully in "the eye of the beholder" It seems quite appropriate that one should spend one's own, hard earned money as they please It might be beneficial, however, to always keep in mind (for any future resale possibilities after years later - after the hype has fallen to "zero" and after dozens of newer hyped coins have become available) that one's earlier "must have" coin has lost some resale appeal In this regard, just realize that it's the intrinsic VALUE OF THE PRECIOUS METAL (not always the design of the device, the mintage number or the original premium paid) that's often paramount!brbrJust some thoughts Comment from : Ron McCord

I was so pissed off with mine - a few issues including a very slight scratch from the main upwards and fogging / grease mark under the Roman letters at the bottombr I contacted royal mint for a return and replacement - they simply said no other coins so return if I wanted to! brDisgusting really that they produce a limited strike like that and let it have issues ffs! Sending a coin for grading is not taking care of a coin It will not stop milk spotting or hazing so its a waste of time and money A 70 grade will not fetch top dollar if the coin inside is not perfect So the whole process is flawed Comment from : AG Smith

I still struggle to understand the price action on the gold restrike una I bought a silver just to remember and for the story of the insanity on the gold! The mint are destroying their customer base by continuing to ignore the obvious with modern commemorative They need to get a deal with pcgs or ngc and pregrade some of these with prices set to grade or capsul They are losing direct customers like me and they are losing money on restrikes admin costs and loss of reputation Thanks again for these video!!!!
