The saddest thing for me is how many builders simply aren't building for the "normal" family Let's face it - more adults are living alone, than ever in the US Some families have 1 child, or they hit their limit at 2 - especially in high cost states Why are builders still building 4/5 bed 2 bath, 3500 sqft houses? A spare bedroom for visitors that never visit? And regular, normal everyday houses with some new cabinets and some new paint are selling for $800k Same house was worth $300k just 10 years ago With a 7 interest rate?
