I have one Sal, a 1915 in MS64, which cost me CDN$880 just over 3 years ago I picked up Mexican 2 1/2 and 5 peso gold restrikes today, just the 10 peso left to complete the restrike series None of these are easy to find up here

The History is cool But when you buy them uncertified do you weigh them for gold loss? Constitutional Silver don’t matter much to me about Silver loss But gold is so much more money My LCS don’t like pre33 unless they are certified

Sal though it is hard to determine your coin's grade from your video it appears your coin could grade AU58, so you got a good deal on that coin if this is the case maybe you should submit it to a 3rd party grading ie pcgs or ngc I love those type Eagle coins also!!!

The Indian Heads aren't always more expensive than Liberty Heads The pre-1880 Liberty Heads are very scarce and sell for high premiums over their bullion value For example, a 1854-S Liberty Head had a 124,00 mintage with only 475 pieces surviving today It's the post-1880 Liberty Heads that are common and affordable

I like the old US gold coins in terms of their design like these Indian heads The problem is they are too expensive and small It is better to buy a 1 oz gold American Eagle or American Buffalo They cost less than you would pay for these Indian heads in mint state Americsn Eagles and Buffalos are also chunkier coins You also get more gold for your money
