My friend Walt told me I had to listen to Queensryche I dismissed it as I was very Black Sabbath metal guy and this was below me I bought the album anyway, to see what it was about He was right: The singer was amazing, the music was amazing, and I have never had anything but admiration for them since There are going to be very specific moments in my life that are punctuated with Queensryche as the soundtrack

Simply love every moment of this Masterpiece These guy were a huge musical influence on my original music on JediJingleMaker, however I don't sing The vocals on this album are about as good as they get This music still hits me center mass like it was 30 years ago SO many epic moments, "spreading the disease" is so powerful and my favorite I remember listening to the album as a kid and learning the guitar parts to that song in my bedroom

Mindcrime was a brilliant, provocative, and rather complex concept album which still holds epic status that popular radio stations never played All of the members of Queensryche were running strong on all 12 cylinders getting along and gushing out such a difficult live show with sheer gut wrenching force and finesse That live set a marked impression on everyone with a ticket to such a live masterpiece
