He was "perfect" hard opponent for Djokovic , alongside Murray and Del Potro , opponents which you just can't disrespect or hate !!!! And best fun was always against Monfils !!!! I am still in absolute awe of this match Djokovic was on fire, he'd crushed Nadal, he was ready Djokovic played superbly on the day, he didn't choke it, he didn't buckle He was beaten from a set up, when playing well, without any of the sets going to 5-5! It may well be that the greatest performance of the Big 3 era was Stan Wawrinka taking down Djokovic in this match There are so many points in this package where Warinka either knocked Djokovic out of the point with a ridiculous winner or just hung tough with him over a gruelling rally to eventually batter him into submission On big points! brbrWarinka's play at the critical moments was extraordinary Roger Federer, among others, can attest how hard it is to serve out a big match against Djokovic Stan was in deep trouble in that final game but he came back at him and won it The final points looks so decisive but powering a massive backhand up the line at that pace is not the sure thing that Stan made it look!

I come here often for the STAN SHOW What an unbelievable performance this was- even these extended highlights don’t do it justice just how good he was on that day- finding angles nobody knew existed I had him at 16/1 and made a small fortune Thank you Stan! It is really hard to appreciate how hard it is to pull of those magnificent shots from Wawrinka on clay from this bird's-eye view Standing one or two meters behind the baseline, receiving a ball that is at shoulder level or higher with very little pace to begin with, Wawrinka still generates so much power even on the 1-handed backhand and, more importantly, staying consistent
