the 100a fuse will be more than enough, after box rise at 600watts rms and 70 efficiency you will not be pulling more than 80amps, i run a 2700rms amp on a 300a fuse for over 3 years now, have it clamped at 280amps max

you should allways give your sub headroom with the power from tyhe amp 600w to power a 600w sub will work but wont sound as good as it could,ull just be straining on the amp all the time

Easier way is getting a lcc1 which makes it where you just wire your power and ground and wire them to your door speakers wirhout having to remove your dash to get behind the stereo

10:00 - nope, unsafe for amp, kinda DC power breaker will start to melt anything after 2000 Watt rms I now have 4200 Watt RMS at 142 volts, and using ANL fuse has never had an issue with these fuses yet I started with these breakers and got even stronger amperage ones up to 450 amps These melted inside and did get hot

here's the best cheap setup for you guys new to the game 2 kicker comp 12s comp c or rs whatever your budget is BUILD YOUR OWN BOX!! cannot explain how important this will be for you to learn going into custom setups go for a single port dual 12 box the best amp for these would be a pioneer champion series 2600 watt or something of that spec, 0 gauge wire, big 3 upgrade and a new battery you don't need a head unit you can use a line output hopefully that helps y'all stay relatively cheap?

You do not want to set your amp to ANYTHING BASS BOOSTED you want to set lp to something around 375 hz I can tell from the videos audio you're setup is CLIPPING

Two things: You could have had a longer port had you run it out of the side of the box (less chance pf filling it with spilled M&Ms), and 5th Order Isobaric speaker boxes have been around since the 90s Sealed boxes with nothing but ports that feel like a fist punching you with airbrbrI've only recently discovered your video channel, and dig what you guys do Keep up the work!

The one thing that he glanced over, due to having his battery in the trunk, is that you must run the power cable on the opposite sid than the rca cables This will help prevent interference, and you will have enough room to run them both

Good video, I've built a heap of enclosures over the years and the explanation here was simple and easy to follow brI'd add a few small points;br1 When using MDF, always wear a mask when cutting or sanding MDF is made with some pretty nasty chemicals and you don't want to be inhaling the dustbr2 If you are running power through your car (in the case of a battery in the front) it's a good idea to use some plastic conduit around the cable to protect it from damage It's an extra level of protection against something going wrongbr3 Best practice is to run the power cable the opposite side to your fuel linesbrbrHope those tips help anyone looking to build their own box or do their own install Well worth doing!

As someone who has had a few subwoofers, I can comfortably say that 500w RMS is all most people really need Up at the 1200w area, is where your trunk will start to rumble, and around 3000w is when you see your door handles and side mirrors start to move from vibration Past 5000w and above, you are pushing the limits of what your car can handle 10,000 RMS is when your ears start to hurt if you're not used to it Source: Ground zero plutonium 15" sub in a custom wood ported box

100 amps fuze is 100 ok cuz its rated 100 amps for few seconds which would not be possible for this amp to achieve This amp would draw 111 amps for 01 sec every few mins every few songs at most so this fuze would at most get hot but wont burn

Old video but yeah you need to throw a 2500-3k 1 ohm amp at that sub for it to ever see the 600 watts it's rated for (I'm assuming it's a d4 which wires down to 2 ohms) A 3k RMS 1 ohm amp will put out approx 1500 at 2 ohms and after impedance rise the sub will see around 500-700 regularly That 600 watts at 2 ohm amp is pushing around a measly 300 watts regularly to that sub
