Just made a very large purchase of 1/10ths @ $217 from Bullion Exchange (100x)shopping makes a difference For those questioning why I didn't buy full ouncesI didn't have any (after stacking dozens of whole ounces) I expect to recover any premium I paid in a future sale or appreciation They also make wonderful gifts for birthdays and graduations Haters can talk to me in 2 years

I actually bought my first silver from Provident many years ago Their prices have jumped and are really one of the most expensive since they were bought by APMEX Haven’t bought from them in a while I like SD and MM found good deals in last couple of years I’ve bought from them all I just look for best deals Not married to any of them You can find some good deals from these dealers eBay shops if you spend some time to look

Gold coins with marks and scratches on them are worth less Add that you put fingers on the coin adds oils to the surface and degrades the coins even more There is a Sheldon coin grading scale from 1 to 70, with the higher the number, the more valuable the coin You simply buy a lower graded coin for less money It really is that simple

A company like Apmex, that is wholesaling to other dealers, has to keep their retail price higher or dealers wouldn’t buy from them Why would a dealer buy from a wholesaler that undercuts them? It’s a win win for Apmex because they are wholesaling at a profit and they make big profit on the retail side, even though their retail sales might not be as big as it could be I hate it when Instagram dealers use Apmex to show the “going price” of a coin, it is so disingenuous

Hi, I store silver with Loomis International in Zurich, people say in a crash I will lose everything that is not in my possession What do you think? Do you think Loomis International silver stored will be safe there? Great Heist I have found a similar situation with Perth mint and various bullion companies Its like the mint is deturing you from buying or is hiding they are low on supplies so hike the price You have to shop around, I even import from USA because a large of Perth mint is exported leaving Australia short on product

What’s really surprising is that people are willing to pay such a premium for gold that is only 91 gold! It seems that if you’re stacking you would want a higher gold content in your bullion If you want to buy US gold coins … shop around!

Shopping around is solid advice!! I wouldn’t count out APMEX because I have personally got a decent deal from them before Example I got a 1/4oz lunar tiger at release date for 509 paying by debt and it’s listed for more at other places higher currently My LCS only have eagles so I’m on the lookout for royal mint coins online with a goal of 1/4oz monthly

Very true, nice breakdown of what’s going on A contributing factor may be to consider purchases from the public via private sales from some of the large bullion dealers If they are buying these coins from private collections, at lower price, they may be able to sell at a lower price I know there is still more to it because SD Bullion generally has great deals on brand new releases I think you’re right about reputation commanding a higher price Very interesting to think aboutbr🔥🦈🌊
