I have gotten gold deals at SilverGoldBull and Bold as well Comment from : Happy Hippo |

CNT has 9999 silver So if you see a silver buffalo with 9999 it is most likely CNT Comment from : Happy Hippo |
The worst rip-off is my local coin shop He buys 1/10 ozt AGE, when spot was $1900, for $180 and sells at $323 Comment from : Happy Hippo |
In other worlds, your never really going to make good money buying these because the premiums + markups eat any potential profit you might have made Comment from : Carl Hammill |
Wow Comment from : M C |
If you like roughly that size gold coin, just buy British Sovereigns or (a little smaller) French Roosters Comment from : The Real Hawkeye II |
Great video Comment from : Kentd |
Excellent breakdown Love the chalkboard; keep on teaching us professor! haha Monument and SD Bullion are my go to for obvious reasons Comment from : Campbells Coins |
In our country, 1oz silver coin buying directly from the source is expensive with a price of $70+ Comment from : Allan Morales |
Just made a very large purchase of 1/10ths @ $217 from Bullion Exchange (100x)shopping makes a difference For those questioning why I didn't buy full ouncesI didn't have any (after stacking dozens of whole ounces) I expect to recover any premium I paid in a future sale or appreciation They also make wonderful gifts for birthdays and graduations Haters can talk to me in 2 years Comment from : Jason Gundersen |
As always great video! Comment from : Silver Chimp |
I always shop around But I’m known to be quite frugal! Comment from : Cash and Coins |
Awesome video Do dealers charge handling fees, tax and other charges, or is what you see is what you pay? Thank you Comment from : Stuart Stuart |
I actually bought my first silver from Provident many years ago Their prices have jumped and are really one of the most expensive since they were bought by APMEX Haven’t bought from them in a while I like SD and MM found good deals in last couple of years I’ve bought from them all I just look for best deals Not married to any of them You can find some good deals from these dealers eBay shops if you spend some time to look Comment from : Eric Parnell |
Very good information Comment from : Even Bigger Al |
Thanks for exposing their business practices Comment from : CoinSpin |
Gold coins with marks and scratches on them are worth less Add that you put fingers on the coin adds oils to the surface and degrades the coins even more There is a Sheldon coin grading scale from 1 to 70, with the higher the number, the more valuable the coin You simply buy a lower graded coin for less money It really is that simple Comment from : Brent Hardenburg |
Just placed an order for my first 1/10 AGE! Comment from : grizzalo |
Thank you for this revealing video Amazing how the supply chain rip off really operates Always remember that a dealer can possibly declare bankruptcy, like El Paso Coin Co did in the Seventies, leaving you as "an unsecured creditor" Good luck stacking everybody! Comment from : wisent wisent |
APMEX has an actual store front in Canada I'd be interested to know if they're any cheaper Comment from : Tim Gibson |
JM hasn't been the same since A Mark bought them Comment from : Will Weed |
This is good information Thank you Subscribed! Comment from : Steve Boyd |
Do you prefer the AGE or the gold Buffalo? Comment from : S Mc |
I just ordered my first AGE They have some extra taxes on them up here in Toronto so I am eating a little extra, but even with the taxes added on it came out to $247 USD I can live with it Great video Comment from : rAgtAg Stacking |
👍 Comment from : Dave Cooper |
I buy a 1/10 oz AGE every payday It definitely pays to shop around! Comment from : FU 46 |
What a waste of money! You would be much better off buying 1 ounce Maples on sale Your weight would grow MUCH faster! Comment from : Robert Scheinost |
I've exceeded my Silver goals and I want to buy at least 3 ounces of Gold this year The last couple of years has been opportunistic for stay-at-home workers, as we're not going out as much and not commuting to work I scour the net for new deals every Monday and decide if it's a good week to buy, or a good week to hold Comment from : Ready-Adhesiveness40 |
This shit is absolutely 👏 amazing Comment from : Real Talk with Richard |
A company like Apmex, that is wholesaling to other dealers, has to keep their retail price higher or dealers wouldn’t buy from them Why would a dealer buy from a wholesaler that undercuts them? It’s a win win for Apmex because they are wholesaling at a profit and they make big profit on the retail side, even though their retail sales might not be as big as it could be I hate it when Instagram dealers use Apmex to show the “going price” of a coin, it is so disingenuous Comment from : Broken Stacker |
A-Mark is buying everyone up They now own Silvertowne I'm sure this has had a ripple down effect on premiums Staying with the Gold purchases my friend Although I did just receive a couple of 2022 Ase's to keep the Dansco album up to date Comment from : Silver Steeler |
Nice breakdown I looked locally yesterday for some gold, it was slim pickens for the most part 1/10 AGE at $230 and Britannia at $220 Comment from : Rick Gee Profit Coins! |
Yea Premiums are out of control Comment from : Reidlos Cidem |

Hi, I store silver with Loomis International in Zurich, people say in a crash I will lose everything that is not in my possession What do you think? Do you think Loomis International silver stored will be safe there? It's difficult to move 1000oz bars and the taxes in Europe The cost of moving will significantly reduce the investment and not sure what to do brbrPhysical redemption will really reduce my investment close to 35 and would need to sell the bars to buy coins as there is no liquid market in Ireland for the bars I really need to think, for now they are in private storage and would prefer leaving there as it makes it easier to liquidate when the time comesbrI need to think and look more what the bank bail-ins will entail brI got the following message from a good friend- markets will crash, Zurich is also an Insurance broker, and they are going be hit hard, once they crash the banks , OT will crash Insurance companies firstbrLet's see, physical possession is costly to the investment overall brbrDo you or any of your good friends know if private storage will be ok or get in physical possession at all costs which will be a 35 reduction in the investment brThanks and great channel! Comment from : Joseph Feury |

Excellent video! Loved the explanation Comment from : Carl Childs |
Well done I’d like to add hero bullion to that list Very good prices usually the same as SD bullion or monument metals Comment from : Savage Stacker |
Good information, Like buying from Bullion Exchange New York, also found good deals from Silver Gold Bull! Comment from : Ian Hester |
Stackers clearly need to put deals first, as long as these are reputable dealers you are sourcing from of course Exploiting the fact that the customers appeared to accept high premiums for a time is unconscionable, these companies existed profitably for a long time before they decided to go rogue and start using their customer base as a cash machine They need reminding Good video Comment from : dleetr |
So if you were to buy an ounce in 1/10 eagles from JM Bullion, they will charge you an extra $530 over other dealers making it cost you $2700 per ounce Comment from : Chimera Bear |
I found the same dam thing Some of the major dealers are getting greedy SD Bullion has a random pick eagle for 20700 this week on sale Comment from : HD Dyna lowrider |
Sometimes the first level wholesaler or manufacturer sells at a higher price to protect their retailers Comment from : Tom Tharos |
Lol that's pathetic, why would anyone pay that much Comment from : A Y |
Great Heist I have found a similar situation with Perth mint and various bullion companies Its like the mint is deturing you from buying or is hiding they are low on supplies so hike the price You have to shop around, I even import from USA because a large of Perth mint is exported leaving Australia short on product Comment from : Peter Grace me guide |
Ha 😆😆 Comment from : Randy Mathews |
Great break down silver heist 👍🏻 makes no sense though haha you would think APMEX would be cheaper, but like you said usually they have more in stock! Comment from : Patriotic stacker |
What’s really surprising is that people are willing to pay such a premium for gold that is only 91 gold! It seems that if you’re stacking you would want a higher gold content in your bullion If you want to buy US gold coins … shop around! Comment from : E A |
Thanks Silver Heist - nice research Proves out that APMEX and others screwing the end-customer! Comment from : Matteo Sternato |
Shopping around is solid advice!! I wouldn’t count out APMEX because I have personally got a decent deal from them before Example I got a 1/4oz lunar tiger at release date for 509 paying by debt and it’s listed for more at other places higher currently My LCS only have eagles so I’m on the lookout for royal mint coins online with a goal of 1/4oz monthly Comment from : Craig J |
SD BULLION has the best prices!!! Comment from : vanhxay93 |
Maybe it's just greed 🤷♂️🤔 Comment from : Bullion Addict |

°°👍 Comment from : VOODOO SKRATCH |
Great video my dude, always interesting and informative 🇺🇸 Comment from : Trident |
Very true, nice breakdown of what’s going on A contributing factor may be to consider purchases from the public via private sales from some of the large bullion dealers If they are buying these coins from private collections, at lower price, they may be able to sell at a lower price I know there is still more to it because SD Bullion generally has great deals on brand new releases I think you’re right about reputation commanding a higher price Very interesting to think aboutbr🔥🦈🌊 Comment from : Silver Oceans |
Great video, and I loved the chalkboard flow chart, really hits home Comment from : TheEBrig |
