Im a little late to the party but if you go to Bessel star system to the west of Narion, Bessel III-B has Iron, Aluminum, Nickle and Cobalt, with some other resources And each hour that you rest is like 58 hours UT That way you dont have to travel between systems to do it Comment from : ironXlungsX714

You don’t even need to make the second outpost at all as it gives the same xp as adaptive frames You could make it way faster by making an outpost on Venus (requires maxing out a perk) and setting up the cobalt and Nickel farm, so you don’t need to travel Comment from : Sebastian

You can do this same method using a single outpost building adaptive frames with aluminum and iron There is a moon in the Narion system called Andraphon off the planet Sumati; just plop down some iron and aluminum extractors and get to work No upgraded scanner needed for the cobalt like in the video The moon is not extreme conditions either so this can be done very early game Bonus that you can make the storages using the resources you get all in one planet Comment from : Skater

Now I have to find a different planet than Rasalhague II While it says there’s both resources on the planet when I scan it…there are NO Cobalt areas at all on the surface map I don’t know if this can be reset or if it’s predetermined and stays that way the whole game… Comment from : TVthePunisher

Takes longer on Xbox due to the no cursor thing which is annoying, but still a good xp farm I have the adaptive frame farm set up and while not as good its still decent, and can get you some levels to put points in to do this Comment from : SuperAp0calypse

Ive scanned so many planets, they show cobalt in the resources but when i scan it doesnts actually have it ive found lots of planets that might have nickel and cobalt but once i scan it always has nickel and other resources but cobalt stays blacked outbrbrIs there a way to reset planets? For Series X users, the best I can do is move the D-pad right and rapidly press RB at the same time to speed up the Isocentered Magnet crafting speed, is there any better way to do this on Series X? I looked at the controller bindings options in the settings and sadly there's not even a way to adjust the RB mapping and the gamepad is really loud and annoying with pressing RB rapidly constantly Comment from : Ivo Robotnik

If anyone doesn’t know, you can transfer from your inventory to the ships cargo bay without being on the ship Just pause, go to crew/ship, and click the one at the bottom that says cargo hold It’ll save you walking slowly back to the ship all the time Comment from : Christian Harrison
