Love the video With that said A 6,000 dollar blaster in a cheap quad challenge 1,000 dollar 300ex that's clapped out For 1,000 dollars I have a 300ex that was in pieces when bought Has 330 big bore kit good suspension and steering and would eat all these machines for breakfast Make it a fair challenge I also have a blaster that was bought for 500$ I got about 500$ in parts for rebuild Vitos 3mm stroker kit and piston kit That would be good 1,000 $ challenge Comment from : Lorri Morseramos

Part of the issue is that the American adult male has an estimated 25lbs more body fat than in the early 90s So all of these quads were sufficient for most adults I have two blasters (95,99) brI've gotten 30lbs fatter since age 30 to now over 50, and ironically the blasters feel much smaller, slower and less efficient at handling and braking Maybe we all just need to slim down and not need such big, heavy, expensive quads Comment from : Rick Yanke

I've ridden all of these machines a pretty decent amount The blaster is easily my favorite Regarding the 300ex, maybe it has some engine work, but really it should be significantly faster and more powerful feeling than any of these machines other than maybe the blaster 300ex can somewhat keep up with a 400ex too Comment from : David

300ex brings back a lot of memories Front suspension is common issue 3/8 spot weld on the top eyes They break off after pushed to the limit on mx or cross country tracks Putting on a 400ex front end was the single best upgrade I could actually charge corners without worry Comment from : Ben Brown

I just paid $2,250 for an 86 Honda 200SX Was a great quad when I rode it in the early 90s and it's still a good quad It is a good mix of utility and "sport" Works great in the woods because it's so small Personally, I prefer my XR400R, but the lady gets to ride the 200SX Comment from : Derek Moore
